"You failed to stop them from protesting, Akk!" The teacher shouts slamming down the files scrunched in with paperwork on the desk, he saw the prefect flinch at the slam as he held his hands tight. Eyes never left the bland ground of the office and he seems to take comfort in it; the shame he feels making him avert from watching his teacher who was scolding about the horrible lack of work he has done on dealing with the three specific students who protest against the school rules.

"Now everyone is thinking of Suppalo is a terrible institution."

In their eyes the school is very much more of a prison than prison itself. School uniforms are uncomfortable to them, as well as the immense lack of student freedom too. You'd think teachers should handle this mess on their own, right? It shouldn't be a kid doing all the work for them. But it is. Akk loves his authority as prefect, he wants to help people, wants to change the school for the better.

However prefect to a teacher is just a slave who does the unnecessary work for them. Akk never really realised how bad his situation was. The constant pressure built on and expectations to maintain, its beginning to wary him down physically and it no longer is a mental strain.

"Go home Akk. You're useless on handling this problem. I will handle it now. It was a mistake trusting you." The teacher pushes past Akk out of the door. Akk gave a nod as he left willingly, but even if he left the room he felt the lingering voice shouting at him. It was like an endless complaint he cannot get rid of. He hates feeling criticised. He hates being wrong.

The feeling of uselessness. Akk cannot help but get the feeling that he was failing everyone.

On the way to the school dorms, Akk has done his best to stay strong until he reaches the his dorm. But on the way, he would run into a boy on his way somewhere with a plastic bag holding alcohol bottles and bunch of snacks. He looks up catching Akk's attention, he was absent minded, to the point he walks past the boy as if he never knew him.

He doesn't want to be seen like this. How else will people rely on him if he is a crumbling foundation and not a strong build wall that allows others to be stable.

"Akk, what's wrong?" Ayan shouts out grabbing a hold of his hand. Akk looks straight away, not looking back at Ayan who is tugging his blazer and wrist. He croaks out hoarsely. "I'm fine, I have somewhere to be."

The boy grabs his wrist back from the foreign hand, walking ahead quicker now to get away.

"Akk." Ayan calls out following the boy he grabs him by the shoulders this time. When turning the boy around Akk has closed his eyes tight, avoiding to look at the boy, it was as if he was far too guilt-ridden to look at anyone. He is scared to see those judgemental eyes that his teachers give him when he has failed them. He's scared opening up because it will make him seem weak.

He saw tears falling down the face as his kept his eyes hidden from the soft long bangs covering it. Clenching them tight close till he sees black only ms "Akk! Look at me." The voice calling out for him seems so warm but dangerous, it felt like a boiling scorching water to hear him about. Ayan drops the bag on the floor gently, as he reaches over holding the trembling boy's face. Shaking as if he were fighting back from the comfort.

"I don't want to look." Akk chokes out.
"Akk why don't you want to look at me?" Ayan softly went on, wiping the thumb on the wet tears running down his reddish cheeks.
The bottom lip twitches, as Akk quietly answers. "I'm scared you will hate me." Sniffing out with a stuffy nose, breathing heavily with an aching chest rising up and down quickly. Ayan softens his gaze as he brought Akk into a hug.

Ayan strokes the back of Akk's head, swiftly rubbing on the brown locks. He lets out, as if it were far from the truth, he could never hate the boy even if he wanted to. Ayan began to quietly comment words Akk has been begging to hear for a long time, but he never heard these before. It was like a fantasy come true.

"I will never hate you. You can tell me the worst thing you have done and i will still be here for you." He said, as the raging chest pains has suddenly calm down and Akk pulls away to open his eyes, once he did so, for the first time he was able to see an expression that did not look at him in a judging way. He was met with the softest eyes with worrisome thoughts running in them like wildfire .

Ayan gives a short smile as Akk looks away wiping those red and sore burning eyes from the harsh crying. The swollen eyelids and wet eyelashes, even in this state, Ayan found him beautiful. A pretty crier.

"Akk." Ayan calls out as he lifts the plastic bag. The two boys standing in front of the boys dorms across the street. He whistles, "how do you feel about inviting me over to your dorm to have snacks?"

Akk clears his rasp voice, softly nodding.
"Okay."
