~Ryou's P.O.V. ~

"Oh bugger!" This was about the third time I remade this model and the third time it hasn't come out the way I wanted it to. I sighed and began to take the small figurines out of the neatly decorated background. "Well, back to the store I guess..." I picked up the wrong colored felt that I had bought the day before and began to make my way to the craft store. Before I left, however, I remembered to take a picture of my background with my phone as a guide to help me find the exact golden rod color that I needed.

~•••~
As I entered the store, I noticed it being a lot more crowded than the other times I've been there. I shrugged it off and continued to make my way to the register so I can exchange my fabrics. A nice lady greeted me and took the ones I had.
"Go to that aisle over there and pick out two more," she said kindly. I smiled, nodded, and went to find my new colors.

As I walked into the aisle the nice employee showed me, I bumped into a girl. Me being my clumsy self fell backwards and onto my bum. "Oh bullocks.." I mumbled.
"Ohhhh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" A small voice echoed through my ears. I fixed my hair and looked up to see a hand and a worried face. I took the girl's hand and got up off the floor. I noticed her adorable, fuzzy ears on top of her head and smiled a bit.

"It's okay!" I assured, "I'm alright!"

"Whew that's good, I wasn't sure and I didn't want to hurt anybody and such but anyway that's besides the point I'm sorry I'll move out of the way n-"

I chuckled and interrupted her fast paced talking.

"Woah, slow down there! I'm fine and you didn't hurt me, if anything it was probably my fault," I scratched my head, "anyway, is there something I can help you find? I don't know, pardon me, but you seem kind of lost.." I realized that it was slightly rude of me to say that, but I mean...I was helping right?

"Ohhh my gosh yes please! I was looking for this particular yellow color and I just can't find it..." She brought her hand to her chin and looked thoughtfully at the rows of felt.

"Hmm, well do you have an idea of what the color is?" I asked, inching close to where she was standing to get a better view of the aisle. She turned slightly to show me the word that was written on a piece of paper. Her height was perfect to me. Only a couple inches shorter than me, and looking at her felt so...comfortable to me.

"Oh! I'm looking for that same one! It's called cadmium yellow, and it's a very specific color, b-but of course I'm sure you knew that." I smiled politely as I noticed how strange I was acting. She looked up at me with these amazing, sparkling violet eyes.

"I-I didn't actually.." She quickly walked away from me to the other part of the aisle. A blush quickly rose on my face and I hoped that it wasn't as noticeable as I thought it was.

"I found it!" She shouted quietly, waving the small fabric sample in the air. I chuckled a little and walked over to her. "Great! I'll take one myself and we can both check out together!" I grabbed my piece and came back to the girl and just now admiring her amazing red hair. How could I have missed it?

"So, I never caught your name mister yellow expert," she giggled.

"Oh! I'm sorry, it's Ryou." I smiled at her again, "what is yours?"

"Oh, mine is Star. I really like that name...Ryou. It's k-kinda cute..." Hues of pink scattered all over her cheeks.

"Thank you, yours is quite gorgeous if I do say so myself," I added.

We were silent for the next minute as we continued to make our way to the cash register.

"Hello, are you together?" The cashier asked.

I blushed a bit and replied, "n-no, I'm exchanging and I think she is buying."
I let Star go in front of me as the same lady that helped me earlier bagged my purchases. I couldn't help but stare at her beautiful eyes....Star's eyes of course. They had changed from a soft violet to an amazing blue. It was just...fascinating to me.

"Somebody is out of it today," the woman in front of me whispered. I quickly snapped my head to face her, noticing the smirk on her face. I could feel my face heat up again...gosh, I've got to stop being so sensitive.
"O-oh? I'm sorry..I was just uh-"

"It's okay hun, you two have a great day," she ended her sentence with a soft smile and handed me my bag. I smiled back and walked out, following Star.

"Hey! Don't tell me that this is it," I laughed, "because I don't think I'd be okay with that." I smiled and walked a bit closer to her.

"Oh..um, alright then. What else did you have in mind?"

"...smoothie?" I suggested.

"Oh, that sounds great!"

And with that we both walked to the nearest place to get smoothies. With every step we took I got happier and happier to be with Star. She's just...kind of perfect. Getting to know her is going to be simply wonderful I can already tell.

We excited the place with our strawberry banana smoothies in hand.
"Wow I haven't had one of these in a long time," Star said as she happily sipped her drink.
"Yeah, me neither. Baku-I mean, my friend doesn't really like them as much as I do and I'm kind of always with him," I sighed at the end of my sentence. If someone was going to ruin this for me, it was him.

"Oh, that's dumb. Who doesn't like smoothies? Like...?"

"Yeah, I know right? Anyway, where do you live? I'd be more than happy to walk you home!" I beamed.

"Oh, wonderful! I actually live only two blocks away so you won't have to walk far."

I smiled at her once again, how could I not?

"How about we enjoy these lovely smoothies first," I chuckled and sipped my drink.

After finishing our delicious fruit smoothies and learning more about each other, we began the short walk to Star's place.

"What? No way!" Star gently punched me in the shoulder and bursted out laughing.

"Yes! I swear I made a model and dreamt about it," I laughed at myself remembering the familiar night with Bakura.

But soon, the fun and laughter had come to an end as I approached Star's house. She had a lovely flowering tree in her from yard, and she just happened to stand underneath it. She turned around to say goodbye, and I couldn't help myself.

I took a couple steps towards her. I gazed into her now violet colored eyes and admired their amazing natural sparkle. Her long red hair blew in the slight warm breeze.

"I hope I can see you again," I whispered gently into her ear. I held her hands gently in mine and brought my lips close to hers. The space between us was closed and we found ourselves deep in an amazing kiss. I had to release it for my smile grew to wide.

"S-sorry..." I said with my head down brushing the strands of hair out out of my face.

"It's fine Ryou," she smirked a bit and pecked me on my cheek.

I perked up and looked at her, knowing my face was probably a deep shade of pink.

"C-can I see you again sometime this week?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course."

Star turned around and walked to her front door. We waved and that was it. That was one of the greatest moments in my entire life.
