Open when you want to read something I wrote for you a long time ago

Every now and then I see a part of you that I've never seen
Birds can swim and fish can fly
The road is long and alone
I wonder why

Hoping that one of these days
You will realize what you mean to me
Every now and then
I see my mind drifting along by your side 

Well I try to talk but I can't
The words wont come out
I can't count the amount of times
I tried telling you what's on my mind
But I couldn't

There's happiness every now and then
When we speak on call
But each passing the day my soul turns to steel
And my heart's in a frown 

so show me 
show me how you like it done 
I wish you were all mine 
I would have made you feel like no-one before 

If you had shown me these sides of you
There would be no supper or liar
You would have only been mine
But now i'm alone in the dark

All alone
On this dark and scary road
Walking along trying to leave it all behind
But still hoping you would drive along
