4. What's a Glitch?

3rd person POV

The trio arrives at the Hinobi store parking lot sneaking behind a car by the entrance, they got off their bikes and peeked behind the car with Miko on the right, Y/n in the middle and Five on the left. "Man, I love this store. When I was little, my dad would bring me here for all the latest game releases, sometimes we'd even camp outside the doors to make sure we got one of the first copies!" "Awww that sounds really sweet, you must have a good relationship with your dad" "Yeah, its cool your family's so into gaming. Mine, not so much" Miko said sadly, Y/n put a hand on her shoulder to give some comfort to her friend, Y/n didn't even have parents to give her love and affection all she had were the twins and they treated her like one of their own that was all that she would want to be happy.

"There's that wrinkly little sandworm!" Miko exclaimed as she pointed out where Mitch is, it seems like he was mocking his manager as he walked out of view from the trio. "There he is! Oh man, Mitch Williams" 'Is he serious right now? Oh yeah he doesn't remember' Y/n and Miko thought with a deadpanned face and Miko pulled him back down so that he doesn't blow their cover, "I mean he's like a local legend, did you know he won his competition when he was six?" "Sounds more like the child cheated" "And he's still got the highest global score on Nobi's Bubble Tea?" Five said ignoring Y/n, now she wants to go for some bubble tea since normally Ayato and Y/n would go buy bubble tea together and just chat. He even taught her The pulling out bobba tea out of sleeve✨ trick. (She doesn't know how to pull it out infinitely yet) 

"Well, before you finish that love letter, remember, Mitch is the creep who probably wiped your brain" "Why didn't he do the same to you guys?" Five questioned both girls. 'Its probably because I'm from another world, but for K.O. she is from here so why doesn't it work for her?' Y/n wondered, "Maybe he did but it just didn't take, gasp* maybe I'm, like, the one you know? Chosen by destiny to protect the innocent from trolls like him!" "Ok thats enough fantasizing from you Miko" Y/n said as she lightly hit the purple-head. Miko pouts and rubs her head on the spot where she got bonked, "Lets goooooooo Wait, stop" Miko said pushing Five then suddenly pulled him back. Miko spotted Mitch coming out of the store and walk to his van and drives off. 

Miko scowls and says "New plan, we follow him, stealth mode style, till he leads us to his den of lies!" Y/n just giggled a little at this and proceeded to follow Mitch. As Mitch's Van pulls up at a drive through, the trio hides behind a bush as they slowly peaked their heads to spy on Mitch. "Welcome to Mama Miamoto's Spaghetti in a Bucket where we put spaghetti in a bucket""Uhh... yeah, I'll have a small pail with a side of... no" Mitch says before using his gauntlet to flash that same light that made Five lose his memories, the clerk drops her pencil and a loading icon was floating above her head until it reaches 100 and then the clerk came back to her senses. Five's jaw dropped and he started pointing over to what Mitch just did, he was clearly speechless so Y/n decided to grab his hand that was frantically pointing towards Mitch and pulled it down 

Not remembering what Mitch said she repeats the same statement again "Welcome to Mama Miamoto's Spaghetti in a Bucket where we put spaghetti in a bucket" Y/n deadpanned at this, 'Is she going to say that all the time?' "Give me two mega buckets and two apple pies" "that'll be $9.75" "Boosh." Mitch said as he used his gauntlet again, 'I swear to the archons above if she says that stupid phrase again' "Welcome to Mama Miamo-" 'that's it I'm done' Y/n said as she turned away covering her ears to not hear that annoying phrase again.

"You know I'm not really that hungry" Mitch said as he drives off with the free food and the clerk in a very confused state. "Did he really just- steal?! Sure he may be a jerk but that's just wrong!" Y/n said angrily, "Holy smokes!  that guy really can mess with minds" "And he made off with with about 10 pounds of free pasta" Miko said. "Ugh we can't let him get away with this" "New plan. Get him!" Five said as he cycles off with Miko and Y/n following behind.
