SUGARS POV: "This pearl will do no good" said father moss, "she's too short, look at her stubby little legs, how hideous" he added.
"She's quite talkative, and jumpy why so quiet now" asked father miaze. I fiddles with my skirt as I felt the other pearls eyes on me, judging me, pitying me, and laughing at me.
"I asked you question, why are you so silent now!" yelled Father miaze, holding me up by the neck. "tsk" I sucked my teeth, I couldn't breathe, and my gem was almost giving in to poof.
Every pearl here knows, all defects at pure doves reef are destroyed after not being bought for at least three decades. It's been four for me, it's been four decades and I haven't gotten bought.
"I don't have time for this!!!, The diamonds inspector will be coming to check out how our reef is functioning" yelled father miaze throwing me down. I gasped for air and coughed, after feeling the pressure of being thrown. "What do you suppose we do" said father moss picking me up, his hand holding me by my waist.
"Let me think" replied father miaze. If you haven't noticed it by now father miaze has a terrible temper, this reef has me it's first defect, they only accept perfects, father miaze shattered a faculty pearl after I was created because he was so mad.
"Let's transfer her" said father miaze. "Why not shatter her?" asked father moss, my eyes widened, as this was said and pearls began to whisper to each other.
"She maybe a defect, but she's a white pearl" exclaimed father maize his eyes weren't making eye contact with father moss, "Oh~" said father moss, "very well then she will sent to another reef" added father moss.
He looked at me, like he was staring through my soul, I made a fearful look his eyes were burning my insides and tearing my nerves up.
He then sat me down and patted my head, father moss was never really cruel to me physically but he was cruel with his words.
"Gather her paperwork and identification, she's being transfered" clapped father maize. He then left the room with the two gems trailing behind.
I started sobbing, and cried until I collapsed onto the floor. I didn't want to leave the pure doves reef I wanted to stay there forever, Even if I was treated unkind, this is the place I was creates.
The day had passed and I still hadn't been sold.
As the sun flew away, I saw the fly away and stars start appearing in the sky. I got up off the floor and walked down the hall that lead to the front door where I could see everyone getting ready to close the reef.
I tried to go over to the other pearls but was stopped by father moss. "Don't you dare move, I've already told you not to" he said.
All I did was sit down and try to calm myself down.
"You're useless to us" said father moss, "we'll have to send you to a different reef"
"Please" I whispered.
"We need perfect pearls to sell and pearls who look lovely for our customers, if you're not useful we'll just discard you." he said.
"why", I said silently, "Why what speak up child" said father moss annoyed, rolling his eyes.
"Why am I being transfered and not shattered?, I don't understand you all hate me but your letting me live" I cried, tears trailing down my face.
I'm weak, I don't stand up to them, I'm so fragile I don't get angry, I just cry and cower under anyone's feet.
"You're a disgrace, you're nothing but a waste of time and space." said father moss angrily.
"you're a defective, you don't belong in our reef".
The tears ran down my face uncontrollably, my body shivered. "Father miaze wants you to disappear right now." said father moss.
"So I'll make it happen, the only reason your not being shattered is because your a white pearl" he added.
"I don't understand" my face was still wet and tears where still falling down my face, I tilted my head in confusion. Father moss sighed, "Father maize, has a soft spot for white pearls, white pearls are the original pearls your just a defect version" he answered, saying the word defect with a disgusted tone.
"Fix yourself, stop your crying were getting you to the other reef now" he said picking me up and making me stand.
A Jasper, walked up to us as I walked outside the reefs door and hall. "Thank you Jasper, make sure you get her to Twilight reef, unharmed and on time" said father miaze.
"If she tries to run, you have the right to poof her and bring her back here to be shattered" said father moss glaring at me as he spoke.
"Of course my nacres" said the Jasper bowing his head to the nacres politely. We began to walk towards the warp pad, I'm getting a new start and hopefully I'll be on a new path.
