Date-Chapter 3

James and I just spent most of the day either at the park or walking around town. It was about 10:26 when James randomly walked into a store, a flower store? After he got them, we started heading somewhere else. Oh- right. James has a date. Once we get to the bar I just stand at the door. "I'll just stay out here" I say not wanting to ruin it for them. "You sure? You could just sit inside?" James proposed to me. "Really?" I ask not telling if he's joking or not. "Of course, cmon" he assures me. We walk in, and i can tell she's immediately confused why I'm here too. I look at her and say " it's a long story" then I walk off looking for something interesting to mess around with.

When I walk back a little closer to them I hear something about Online dating and Tiger pictures. "Uh, yeahh. I think the ceiling is way more interesting than that" I mumble to myself walking away. A few minutes later, after it got too boring to bare i walked over to eavesdrop on there conversation. What? I'm nosey. I hear them talking about Yori and a persons kids dying. James gets up and excuses himself. I see him leaving and run after him.

"Hey! James! Hey, wait up!" I yell to him as he's walking away. "Hey. Are you okay?" I ask James, after catching up to him. "Yes" He says, very unconvincingly, but I decide to leave it at that.

After awhile of walking we make it to an apartment place, guessing from the ally we went through to get here I'm pretty sure we're going to Yori's apartment. James stops and I don't notice, so I end up running into him. "Oh- sorry" I say quietly. "Your fine" he says before knocking on the door we stopped at. A second later it opens revealing, I guessed it, Yori. "Hey, what are you doing here? How was the date?" Yori questions, clearly confused. James stares off behind Yori. "It was- it was good" James says, while Yori looks behind himself wondering what James was staring at.

"Forgot I owed you for lunch" James says, handing Yori some money, and walking away. "Hey" I say "what was that about?". "Nothing." James says. I stop taking for awhile until we're walking into a different apartment complex. "This your place?" I ask "yup" James says popping the 'p'. He walks in the door, while I stand at the door. "Um" he turns around "you comin' in?" He asks. "I- huh?" I say confused. "I mean are you staying, it's pretty late, I don't want you getting hurt. Some people are creeps, man" James says.

*A few hours later*

I'm sitting on the couch, right now. Watching the T.V, i keep flipping through channels before seeing the news screen flicker by. I stop and go back a few channels, to the news. James heard it and walks in the living room and sits on the couch beside me. "-Everyday Americans feel it. While we love heroes who put their lives on the line to defend Earth, we also need a hero to defend this country. We need a real person who embodies America's greatest values. We need someone to inspire us again. Someone who can be a symbol for all of us. So, on behalf of the Department of Defense and our Commander-in-Cheif, it is with great honor that we announce here today that the United States of America has a new hero. Join me in welcoming your new Captain America"  the guy on the screen says, and a guy walks forward, the new Captain America.

"What a bunch of bullshit" I say. "We don't need a new Captain America. The original was way better than this.. this- this KNOCKOFF!" I yell the last part, as it turns out, I was a Captain America superfan. He was my idol. The person I looked up to. Of course I never met him, but still.    I was devastated finding out he was gone, and now they bring some other random ass dude, and call him Captain, and expect him to be just as good? Hell no. That's not how it works.

While I was going mental over the new guy, James was sitting silently staring at the replacement, looking disappointed, frustrated, sad, and just as devastated as me. He was also feeling disappointed, frustrated, sad, and just as devastated as me.

*12:45, The next day*

Me and James sat watching the interview with 'John Walker'. Me and James sat in silence, a shared hatred for John starting. "Cmon" James says standing up "You have to meet someone". James puts in his jacket. "Woah, wait, what?" I ask. "No time" he says "let's go". 

We walk out the door, walking down the hall. I'm so confused, first of all where are we going.  Who am I meeting? And what the fuck is going on? But don't want to bother James so I just follow him. Out of nowhere I have a completely unrelated question, but I just have to ask. "Hey James?" I ask. He stops, and turns around facing me. "Just call me Bucky" he says then turning around. "Oh, ok  Bucky. I'm sorry" I say. "For what?" Bucky asks. "Well I'm sorry for bothering you this whole time " I tell him, truthfully. "What? No, you haven't bothered me at all. I kind of feel more relaxed when your around" he says. "Yea. It's all so rushed, we just met like what? Two days ago, and I already feel like I've known you for years" I say. "Yea, true" he agrees. 

"So who am I supposed to be meeting?" I ask. "Sam" Bucks answers. "Sam who?" I ask, not getting it. "Sam Wilson" Bucks answers again. "Huh?" I say, getting a little frustrated because of his half-assed answers. "The Falcon." He says, louder. "WHAT?" I say shocked "YOUR TAKING ME. TO MEET. THE FALCON?!". "That's what I said right?" He asks, sarcastically. "Your kidding" I tell him, not believing what he said. "Nope" Bucky tells me. I just keep walking with my mouth wide open. Believing Bucky that I'm gonna meet an ACTUAL AVENGER.

CHAPTA 3!! so I don't know what I'm gonna do with this, but it's more about quality over quantity right? Idk but I'm gonna try to pull something together instead of pulling stuff out of my ass yk? Sorry but istg it's gone get better. Sam fixes everything. Bye bye
