It may seem a little cliché, but sometimes to step back and acknowledge not only a person for their sacrifice rather their presence. Is the best way to see your own self-worth. Taking a page from Jim Rohn's book, states "you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with." As soon as individuals realise that their peers influence who they become, the better because they may elevate you or stand as your most excellent anchor. Once that realisation strikes, we can truly begin to identify the people who are REALLY present. The ones who enable you to be great, better still empower you to become the best version of yourself, who you want to be and vice versa. The ones who want to stand by you without judgement, with support and encouragement. Especially when you're feeling down and out, they remain with their optimistic glass-half-full mentality, ready to point out how empty yours isn't and guide you with hope.
