"Alright, Calum is..."

Chapter 13

Calum's POV

I don't know why, but I can't move. I feel like crap, but I know I am awake, or should be. I try my hardest to open my eyes, but it doesn't work. I try my hardest to lift my hand, or wiggle my toe. Nothing, I have no control. All I can see is mind numbing blackness. I can't hear anything either, I hear blurred noises, as if I am listening through a wall. I try to open my mouth, but nothing happens. Why can't I move? I am freaking out, where are the boys, where is Megan, where is Zia, where are the other kids? Where is everyone? Why is it so dark, why can't I move, see, or hear? What is going on? My mind races through all of the questions, not able to answer a single one. Suddenly noise bursts through my ears, I hear a beeping, and low voices mumbling. I feel a cold object on my forehead. I still can't move, but I can hear.

"Alright bud, listen here. If you can hear me I want you to know that you are going to be alright. You have some awesome friends who are waiting for you. I need you to fight the darkness, break through for me Calum." I hear an un-familiar voice whisper to me. I think I actually get goosebumps. I try to respond but I can't, so I just keep fighting it.

Michael's POV

"Alright, Calum is going to be just fine. He is getting a few x-rays done to see why he is in a coma. So you won't be able to go back for another hour or so. Everything is going to be just fine though, and the doctors are going to watch his brain movements. Which they have already been doing, they say he is defiantly fighting the coma with all the brain movement he has. I think all he might need is a bit of time with his girl in there talking to him, but again you can't come in for another hour. Though I see she is asleep. Don't worry about it, I'll come get you guys in a hour." Justin tells us, and I thank him. I lean back against the wall, exhausted but happy. Calum was going to be okay, which means I can at least get a bit of rest. I hold Megan close, and lay my head on top of her's. Soon enough I am out of it.

Megan's POV

**Two hours later**

They let me come in here an hour ago. I have been sitting here, Calum's hand in mine. I have been talking to him, telling him everything that has happened today, and that I loved him.

"Cal, please wake up for me baby boy. I need you here with me, I can't go on without you. I can't tell Zia that you aren't going to be here. Please wake up for me baby." I whisper to him, my voice cracking at one point. I feel is hand squeeze mine lightly and I jump slightly.

"Cal?" I whisper, my voice hoarse. I don't get a response this time, but his head moves to the side, and I know he is fighting to break free.

"You can do this Cal, I believe in you." I whisper now, smiling lightly.

"Come on Cal, you can do it. Break through." I whisper to him. Just then...
