~Boo's P.O.V~
I watched her closely from the table that I usually sat at in the mornings, a million thoughts going through my head. She had long dark brown hair parted into two pigtail braids, a pale and fare completion, and shocking blue eyes...I was infatuated and had no idea why.
"Go talk to her"
someone said blandly, causing me to jump a little, I looked behind me to see a girl with long ,wavy, dirty blonde hair and dark brown eyes. I knew from our group times that her name was Kaiden. She was kind of intimidating but fun to talk to.
"Maybe I don't wanna Blondie" I said with a mocking grin that caused her to laugh a little,
"Don't be so shy, talking to people is how you make friends dweeb~"
Kaiden smiled at me just before noticing a sleeping dotty all balled up in his oversized sweatshirt, he didn't get much sleep the night before because he didn't feel to good so I decided to let him sleep.
"So how's he holding up?" Kaiden questioned
"Since his meltdown? Ok I guess...he's been having a lot of sleepless nights so I couldn't really say for sure"
I looked at him for a moment, silently judging his sleeping form with concerned eyes...I had become really attached to him since I had came hear, yeah it wasn't that long ago but you gotta admit, the kid grows on you fast. I felt Kaiden lightly punch my shoulder to get my attention and as I went to look up (and possibly hit her back) I locked eyes with the new girl that I had become so infatuated with.
"Hi" she breathed softly "I'm cassidy"
Cassidy's voice, from what little I could hear of it, sounded hallow, and calm. Like the tone a mother would use when talking to a frightened child. She sat down next to me and I snapped myself back to her attention,
"I'm boo...uh that's dotty, and that's Kaiden" I said pointing as I said there names. Kaiden gave her a warm smile and gently reached out to pat her shoulder, Cassidy didn't flinch so she completed the motion.
"Nice to meet ya, you can call me kaid if you want"
Cassidy nodded shyly, giving us a small flicker of a smile as a response.
