It was around dinner time when the Chandler's heard a knock at the door, Mr.Chandler had gotten home not too long ago and Mrs.Chandler was in the kitchen ready to start dinner, neither of them expected a knock at this time or any time actually.
Opening the door to reveal Mrs.Muffin holding what looked like a delicious casserole, a smile lit across Mrs.Chandler's face as she invited her in after taking the casserole.
"So sorry dear but I have some important jobs I need to do but please enjoy the casserole"
Neither of his parents knew what they had eaten that night, neither of them really cared but they both knew that it had been one of the extraordinary foods they have ever eaten. But poor Jack earlier that day he had been playing ball and running in the forest, now he was sitting in the bottom of his parents stomach never to be seen again. Though there was something that did catch Mrs.Chandler's attention though, something she found strange. A bracelet was wrapped around Betty's wrist when she handed over the dish, one that looked like it was made of bones. Something was carved into the surface of one, she thought it was a heart with the words underneath "Everything got better the day we met and you were always my Muffin man"

Betty Muffin never had never liked children to begin with. She had a sad story you could say, miss treated as a child by both her parents and siblings , leaving with some trauma that would later turn into an odd obsession with revenge. She was never planning on killing that day nor feasting on them but she couldn't stand those boys hanging around in the forest anymore and coming through destroying her beautiful garden.

Down Dury lane is a quaint little street, filled with beautiful houses and scenery but most of all it's the people that make the lane so wonderful.
