Hello everyone! Merry Christmas 🎅🎅

"You'll miss the party, little man."
Beam didn't even bother to open his eyes or raise his head. He immediately extended his middle finger to Kao.
Kao sat next to him, and the bed shook. He was then violently rattled.
"Little man doesn't have a sense of humor."
Beam's voice was faint as he said, "Little man wishes you'd quit fucking calling him that."
He had a terrible day. He had received the results of his English test (not good but around 40 points better than Forth). Then, during the History Club meeting, he almost fell over while attempting to get his pizza. For a scary split second, Forth's shoulder came dangerously close to striking him in the face. His painkiller had started to wear off during biology class, so he had to work hard for a full forty minutes to concentrate on the material before returning to his room. Then, he discovered that he was out of water and didn't particularly feel like going to the sink in the bathroom to acquire more.
"Ohm will be there."
Beam still hadn't opened his eyes. "If he sees me like this he definitely won't be interested. "I don't need you to get me guys anyway,"
"Once you see this one, you'll think twice. For a guy," Kao said as an afterthought, "he's really handsome."
"At a later date. Give me some space."
Whatever Fern wanted him to do was irrelevant. It was irrelevant that Forth had asked him, "You know that party? You really ought to go." It didn't matter that Kao was asking him right now; after that, you can finish doing my English assignment.
"By the time we arrive, you'll be feeling better and regret not going. Free beer will be provided."
"I'm not interested at this time."
"It'll lessen the discomfort in your nose."
"Beam!"
Beam groaned. Not Fern.
"Beaaaaaaammmm!"
"Just a--"
He opened the door after hearing Kao invite his friend in, however.
Fern said, "Party time," as she put on a simple pink dress that made her appear more attractive than normal. Actually, quite excellent.
"Enjoy yourself without me."
Fern put her hands on her hips while tilting her head up. " You're coming along."
"No. I should stay here and take my naproxen."
Fern, though, had his hand and was yanking him upward.

Since it was a fraternity party and Pete was a member, Kao proceeded to get the alcohol as soon as they entered the fraternity. Fern pledged to stick by Beam until he was so inebriated that he was no longer bothered by the pain in his nose. Pete then showed up, and she left with him right away. Beam was left alone, leaning against the wall beside the entrance with his back to it, wishing his face didn't hurt so he could genuinely enjoy himself rather than just stand there like a wallflower.
"Little man!" Kao appeared in the distance with two glasses of what appeared to be extremely sweet alcohol.
He accepted the cup when it was presented and swiftly downed it because Beam was too relieved to yell at him. Even though he hadn't drunk in a while and then only occasionally, he put up with the burning sensation in his throat.
