"This town is a lot bigger than our previous town." A teenage boy in a green tank top and black pants was walking down the streets, looking around, "I mean, this place is huge."
"I still don't understand why we had to leave all of our friends." A young girl about 9 grumbled as she walked next to her brother, "It's not fair."
The older boy sighed and dropped his black bag, "Zoey," he squatted down, "dad got a transfer. It's a great job opportunity for him. It means more money, a bigger house and a chance for us to be closer to Uncle Josh. I know you're missing your friends, but this is a whole new adventure for us."
Zoey sighed, "I know, Tommy, but I just started training for my Junior Black Belt. What if I can't get it here?"
"Which one?" He laughed as she wrinkled her nose at him, "Kidding. Look, we did the research. There's martial arts training here. I mean, that's where we're going now, right? Let's wait and see if we can get you in to be certified. We have a year to get you that belt, okay?"
"Okay." She smiled, "Well, come on then, bro. It's time to get you another win."

"Look at this place." Zoey commented as they walked into the Angel Grove Youth Center and Juice Bar, "It's packed."
"I wonder if it's always this full." Tommy smiled as he pointed to a table off to the side, "I need to go sign in. Come on."
Zoey stood to the side as her brother signed in for the competition. "Hi." She looked over at the greeting to see another girl her age with brown hair and a big smile, "You're new, aren't you?"
"Yeah, just transferred. I'll be starting on Monday."
"What grade?"
"Fourth."
"Cool. That's my grade." The girl extended her hand, "I'm Jenna Scott."
"Zoey Oliver. Pleased to meet you." They shook hands, feeling like fast friends already, "Are you here to just watch?"
"I'm here rooting for my brother. He's signed up for the teen one-on-one. He was told he's only going to be going against one other, so he's probably gonna win. He always wins." She rolled her eyes.
"The one-on-one?" Zoey chuckled, "Well, I can't wait to watch that. I've got to go, my own brother is waving me over. I'll keep watch for your brother, okay?"
"Okay. Thanks."
Zoey was smiling by the time she got to the other side of the center, "You look happy. What happened?"
"Just made my first friend."
"Really? Same grade?"
"Yes. At least I'll know someone at school tomorrow."
"That's good to hear. Now," he started stretching, "I need to warm up before my match. I'm up after the weapon demos."

"Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to the Angel Grove Martial Arts Expo!"
Jenna watched the weapons display while her brother got ready for his match. "All right, now, Jase, remember: keep positive and concentrate on your moves." She looked over as her brother's friend's started encouraging him.
"Yeah, focus your mind as well as your body."
"Thank guys, but, uh, it looks like I'm going to need all the help I can get." Jenna frowned at that, He's always so positive. What's different? She looked in the direction he pointed in surprise.
