I really tried to make this story as angsty as possible 😭
Tw: Death (Execution) and this is just an angsty story in general. This is a non-despair story meaning that the killing game didn't happen in this AU!!

Sigh.

Today was the day, the day Ryoma Hoshi would get executed for his "sins", the day Ryoma Hoshi would get execution for murdering the mafia.

Kirumi and Ryoma have been dating for around 3 years now, Ryoma had been let out of prison because he was attending hopes peak academy, sadly that didn't stop him from getting executed a few years later.

At first Ryoma didn't wanna talk with anyone from his class, ah yes, Kirumi remembers their first year in hopes peak together, Ryoma not wanting to talk to anyone, and her caring about her talent more then anything.

Kaede and Kaito tried to talk with Ryoma at first but Ryoma was stubborn and didn't let that happen, I mean, he was gonna die and he knew that, he didn't want people to get close to him.

It took Kirumi and Ryoma a very long time to finally start talking, at first it started with Ryoma helping Kirumi with small tasks, then it went to a friendship, and then it became even more and how that happe-

Their years together were amazing, Ryoma was a great loving boyfriend, he gave Kirumi small gifts, he took good care of her and made sure she was okay, even though Ryoma hates touch, he made an exception for her.

Ofcourse Kirumi also took care of Ryoma, she made sure he didn't do anything stupid, she made sure he didn't feel down, and she made sure he took care of himself, when she found out he was getting executed she tried everything to make it stop, I mean she kinda was the secret prime minister from Japan but, they didn't let her do it because according to them

'Ryoma Hoshi is a dangerous man, he has to die.'

Oh Kirumi was furious, she couldn't believe they said that.

She pleaded and begged, but nothing could get them to change their mind, Ryoma Hoshi would die.

At first she just sobbed, she cried her heart out, Ryoma had already warnt her for this, he said something like 'I know you love me and I love you too but, you do understand I'll die right?' She thought she could stop it but oh boy she was wrong, and now he was gonna die.

In the last few days of Ryoma everyone went to visite him, atleast, everyone from his class.

Kaito who told him he always looked up to him, Maki who could only just akwardly talk about their memories, Kaede who told him he was such a great human being and who shed a tear, Shuichi who tried to look for evidence to prove him innocent, but sadly that didn't work, Himiko, Angie and Tenko who did one last magic show for him, Rantaro and Korekiyo who told him how much they would miss him and that they would never forget him, Miu who kept making jokes but deep down she cared, Kokichi who was 'crying' over losing his dad, Gonta who brought him this cute cat plush but didn't really understand what was going on, Keebo who could only just... Shed robot tears and tsumugi who remade his outfit and kept chatting with him, to distract him.

And then there was Kirumi, everyone from the class had shed a tear, maybe except Miu and Korekiyo. But she was just straight up sobbing, when she entered the room she immediately lost her composure and came running to him, everyone tried to calm her down but she just couldn't stop crying, Ryoma told her she'll be alright, that everyone would be there for her.

But she didn't want that.

She wanted him.

It was the last hour before the execution, everyone had said their goodbyes to Ryoma.

Kokichi explaining to Gonta about what was going to happen, and Gonta who broke down crying, Kaito also alot cried even though he didn't wanna show it, everyone shed a tear. Ryoma only
couldn't tell if they were real or not.

Well Kirumi had completely lost it, she was screaming at the guards, sobbing and at a loss for words.

"Kirumi?" Ryoma tried to calm her down, to tell her it would be alright but it was no use.

"WHAT RYOMA CAN'T YOU SEE I AM TRYING TO SAVE YOU!" She wasn't mad at him but...

"Kirumi, love, it'll be okay, please don't spend your last moments with me like this."

"..." That left her quiet.

"Can you kneel down please?" He asked, looking at her, she was still oh so upset but..

She kneeled down. "What is it, Ryoma..?"

He hugged her thight, Kirumi wished she could stay in this moment forever but, she couldn't.

He was death now, his execution was over and she just felt so... Empty.

She had no purpose without him.
