as I kicked my feet back and forth as I looked out the window of the taxi.
I was kinda tired of staying with dad. I missed mom and my sister. I never got to see them anymore and every time I would ask he would just say maybe next summer. and when it did roll around he would say.
I'm sorry honey maybe next time.
So I told him I was sleeping over at a friends house. took some of the money I made from shoveling driveways and took a Taxi to Mystic Falls.
The Taxi stopped outside of my house. I gave him the money and got out. I walked up the steps and knocked on the door. it was early morning. No one answered.
"Hmmm. " I thought as I scratched my head.
I made my way in town.
Maybe mom is at work? I thought as I made my way to the police station. I walk up to the front desk but they couldn't see me.
"Excuse me?" I said
The man looked up over the desk and down at me very confused.
"Can I help you sweetie?" He said
"Yeah, is my mom around? Liz Forbes," I said
His eyes widen.
"Wait here." He said
I nodded
He got up and walked to the back. Meanwhile I seen a man with dark hair and blue eyes looking at me.
He had a black leather jacket on.
He looked me up and down and raised an eyebrow. I was about to say something when mommy came rushing towards me. she was in her uniform.
"Jordan!" She said getting on her knees hugging me
"What are you doing here? Where is your father?" She said
"I wanted to see you," I said with a smile
"He's at home." I said
She raised an eyebrow. and gave me a worried look.
"How did you get here?" She asked
"I took a taxi." I said simply as I smiled
Her eyes widen.
"You came here by yourself!?" She asked stunned
I nodded.
"Yup." I said popping the 'P'
"Where does your father think you are?" She asked
"A sleepover." I said with a shrug.
Mommy let out a deep and long sigh,
"Come on." She said standing up and taking my hand.
"Let me call your sister so I can talk to your father." She said
I nodded.
We went back to her office. she called Caroline. and we waited for her.
"What is so import-" Caroline began but then spotted me.
"Oh my God Jordan!" She smiled
I got up and hugged her as she got on her knees to hug me.
"What are you doing here!?" She said in a happy excited voice.
"She fooled your father and took a taxi here." Mommy said
Caroline's eyes got wide.
"Do you think you can look after her while I call your father." Mommy said
"Of course! Come on lets go to the grill so everyone can see you." Caroline said taking my hand
"Okay!" I said excited
Liz POV
I knew the judge shouldn't have granted him custody of Jordan. I mean look she took a taxi here all by herself anything could have happened to her! I thought as I dialed Bill's number.
"Hello?" He said
"Hello missing something?' I said
I was absolutely furious.
This is going to lead to an argument I just know it.
