'You got up from bed and walking towards your closest putting a hand on the knob.'
Standing there with your hand on the knob heart racing hoping you had just forgotten to fold your clothes. Paranoia setting in you realized you had left your phone on the bedside table so you couldn't even see anything if you wanted too. Letting go of the knob you turned around walking back to the bed when you heard the door to your wardrobe creek open and a large hand placed itself onto your shoulder. You had a cold sweat running down your face and your spine stiffened in fear. A warm breath was felt on your neck.
"Did you know the human heart is the most nutritious part of the body?"
That deep voice sent a chill up your spine and your flight senses kicked in. You turned your head to see a red devil man holding a knife in the hand that wasn't on your shoulder. You push him with your elbow and bolt for the bed jumping over it and running for the door. A grunt and heavy footsteps followed you from behind. Your heart was racing as you opened your bedroom door as ran down the hallway. It felt much longer than you remembered but that was just the self actualization of the situation if you stopped now you'd die or be like Streber in the hospital both were bad opinions. Finally running to the door you grab some sneakers slip them on and fiddle with all your locks. You regret making sure everything was locked up tight. The footsteps sounded so close and the sound of a knife against a sharpener was heard. More panic set in he was going to just kill you wasn't he, your palms got sweaty as you undid the last lock looking behind you seeing how close this man really was. And even though it was dark you could see his silhouette in the darkness he was tall and chubby but definitely not out of shape if he was chasing you so. You opened the door and slammed it close as you didn't hesitate to start running down the street still in your pjs you were freezing but at least you had shoes on. Only logical thing now was get to your aunts house only because that was closer than the police station. You heard yelling not to far behind you and the sound of his heavy footsteps behind you. That pushed you to run faster as your lounges burned from the cold air and lack of stopping. Your body grew weaker as you ran tears falling down your face from just pushing yourself this much. You knew if you kept this up you wouldn't make it so you took a sharp left turn almost falling to the ground and hiding behind a trash can and the many bag. You had to cover your mouth to stop how hard you were breathing gritting your teeth breathing through your nose a sharp inhale it almost made you gag from how horrible the smell was. You heard his footsteps and heavy breathing as the ally's light grew dimmer he was standing at the end of it. You heard the sounds of a knife being sharpened and his deep voice called out.
"Come out come out wherever you are. You can't hide forever."
He stabbed the knife into one of the trash bags near me I let out a wimped in fear I could feel the bag he stabbed move as he pulled the knife out. I saw a big grin above me as he spoke.
"Found ya darlin!"
Something about that voice I had remembered but I didn't get time to dwell on my thoughts as a big hand grabbed me by the top of my head a fist full of my hair as he dragged me out of the trash and into the ally. I screamed in pain as he grabbed me but he put a hand over my mouth to hush me. As he pulled me eye to eye with him his wife deep eyes met my teary eyes I could bearly see him with all the water coming down my face. The more he saw me cry the more his impossibly wide smile grew speaking ever so slightly.
"I must say doll I'm impressed you made it this far but alas looks like I got ya."
He took a breath just looking at me because he spoke again.
"This was fun haven't had a good chaise in a while but the games over now."
He smiled wide as he took the knife showing me the blunt side.
"Tag your it.~"
As he said those last words I was hit in the skull with the blunt side of the knife and everything went black.
