Daisy gasped quickly covering her mouth upon seeing the former king in bed. Sleeping soundly without a care in the world. Ludwig by his side monitoring the affects of the antidote given prior too. Horace had finally begun to show signed of being more alert. Yet to still wake up.
"Yes....But with him finally giving signs of being more aware. I have more hope that he'll wake up soon."

"So you think talking to the King while he's still in this state will help?" Goofy asked preparing the supplies needed as the time drew near.
"Aye Lad. While I donna know if it'll cause him to wake up sooner. I do ken that he will hear us. Now don't tighten that hard. Remember a little slack goes a long way." Scrooge instructed.

"You're highness....my name is Minerva Beauchamp. Though my friends call me Minnie. I-....I wanted to talk to you because.... we're about to face your nephew. He-....I'm sorry to say that he hasn't been the leader you taught him to be." Gulping as she hesitantly placed a hand over his own.
"I know you did your best. I think he truly lost his way.... Perhaps if he sees you.... maybe he'll begin to change. You taught everyone in Wysteria that their can be good in people who choose to walk the path of darkness.
In my experience he's been so cruel that I still struggle believing it. However I have hope that he will one day. But for now we might have to force him to scarf down some humble pie so to speak. I will make you a promise. Because I know that If I don't then I will let my own inner darkness win." Pausing to take a deep breath before continuing.
"I promise to not let my anger get the best of me. Whatever he does I won't hurt your nephew the same way he has hurt me. Let alone others. I hate being the one to give you this devastating news.... even though I don't know if you can hear me. But you deserve to know the truth."
"Your Majesty" Mickey suddenly called out, stepping into the room, standing beside Minnie with a hand upon her shoulder. To which she reached up and entwined with her own.
"I promise to do the same. Long ago I almost let my bloodlust and rage hurt him fatally. I saw the woman I love being attacked and felt hopeless. If I didn't have our friend Oswald to keep me level headed, then I would've made another huge regret in my life.
Your Majesty.....you taught me a lot during the war. Battle tactics, the art of the sneak attack and what it means to take a life. That alone was a hard life lesson to take in for me. Still is at times. You gave so much to us. Let us do this one thing for you. We will stop your nephew and make sure he's around for you two to reunite."

"Now Miss Daisy, I know it's odd but I promise you I know my horses. A good rest before the hours up and he'll be good as new."
"Donald, I understand but how can you be so sure?!"
"Because I'm a horse whisperer." He joked laughing while she held her hands at her hips. Giving him the side eye. Still she found his ways quite charming.

"Oswald, are ya doing okay?" Mickey asked. Witnessing his friend lean against the window frame. Arms crossed looking out at dusk. Always like this when he was deep in thought. Not saying a word back. Shaking his head he walked up with his own hands in his pockets. Watching as the sky turned into the evening hues.
