Tensura pirates adventures! - The Beginning

"This..... is nothing like what I had imagined" said Rimuru, as they reached the golden city on the Skyandr island. The city, as sits name suggests, was glamorous. Anywhere you look, the houses were made at least partially, if not completely, of gold. The roads on the ground were bordered by gold. The tree-guards on the sidewalks were made of gold. The vehicles people used were  gold plated. Even the island itself was located in such a position that the sunrays upon reaching it were golden in color, leading to the sky being goldish in the noon. 

"These people sure are rich" Ramiris

"I guess we shouldn't we surprised that much, considering even skypiea had a shit ton of gold. Looks like gold really is commonplace in sky islands" said Rimuru, as they continued to explore the city. After sometime they entered a good looking restaurant.

"Just get us your best selling dishes" ordered Rimuru, without bothering to ask the price.

"Ok sir. Your order will be ready in a moment" said the waitress and left.

"So what's our plan?" asked Dagruel.

"Right. We will go see that waterfall tomorrow, so you guys can just chill explore the city for today" said Rimuru.

"Looks like we can finally get to spend our money" said Luminas, excited to check out the shopping district.

"Kuahaha we are going to have a lot of fun!" said veldora, accompanied by milim and Ramiris, who looked like they can spend the entirety of their savings in one night. And so they began to discuss their plans for the day, when suddenly they heard a commotion outside.

"Um what's happening there?" asked Rimuru to a person nearby.

"Oh you must be new here. Today is the day the grand descent procession day"

"The what?"

"Today one of the Ruler's apostles descents to the golden city"

"Ho? Ruler's apostles?"

"Yes that is right. Once every month one of the Ruler's 12 apostles comes to the golden city to interact with the citizens, and see to it that the city is working smoothly. And is there are any trouble makers, they take care of them" 

"So are they like your guardians or something? And this Ruler guy is the King of this city?"

"Hey hey now. Be careful to always talk about the Ruler respectfully, or you are going to make some enemies here. The Ruler is revered here as a god, and you will be punished if you disrespect god" said the person with a hint of displeasure at Rimuru referring the ruler in a casual way. 

"Oh so he is god I see" said Rimuru, and the rest of the crew let out a giggle.

"That is correct. Be a good person and the Ruler will give you his blessing"

"Right right. I revere him now. So much that I wanna pay my respect to his apostle out there. I can go right?"

"Yes of course. The ruler welcomes everyone who reveres him, regardless of anything. You would do well to come under him" 

"Right. Lets go guys" said Rimuru, and the rest of them got up and went towards the procession "we have found our entertainment" said Rimuru with a smile.

"All hail the ruler!"

"Raitz-sama look here!"

Roared the crowd as the Raitz was passing by riding a golden floating machine, accompanied by some guards, waving his hand at the people. 

"So that's the apostle? Is it just me or does he look too much like that Enel guy?" asked Leon

"I feel that way too. They look similar"

Just as Raitz was about to pass by, his eyes met Rimuru.

"You....."

"Hm?" 

"Ahem ahem, my apologies. You are the newly chosen warlord Rimuru Tempest if I am not wrong" 

"Oh right. That is me. I am surprised that someone knows about me here" said Rimuru

"Of course. Even if we mostly live here we are still up to date with the current affairs of the blue sea dwellers. So what does a warlord have to do in our Golden city? Or should I assume you are not working on the orders of the world government right now?"

"That's right. We are just doing the pirate thing and adventuring"

"Ah then that is fine. As long as you don't cause trouble anyone is welcome. I would have to come personally and eliminate you otherwise" said Raitz in a threatening tone.

"Are you trying to threaten me?" asked Rimuru in a serious tone.

Both of them stared at each other for a while.

"Well I am just letting you know just in case. May your time here be good" said Raitz and moved ahead. His eyes met Luminas, and he was dazzled for a second, and then continued on. 'What a beauty! I want her at any cost'

They were split in groups of Milim Veldora and Ramiris to the entertainment zone, Dagruel and his punch- *ehem* best friend Dino to the fighting arena, Guy and Leon just wherever , Rimuru Diablo and Antak to explore random places to gather info but basically it was just Rimuru showing Antak around and Diablo casually tagging along for obvious reasons, and Luminas to the shopping district. "Alright then we will meet back here at night. You all are free to spend your day however you want. Now disperse!" said Rimuru, and everyone went their way.

When they all returned back at night, Luminas was nowhere to be found. 

"What the hell is taking her so long? She is not even picking up her phone" said Rimuru.

"All the shops in the city have already been closed long ago" said Leon with a worried expression.

"Could it be!"

"I would really hate to consider the idea that anyone here is capable of doing that, and that too so quietly" said Rimuru.

"I will get to work then" said Antak. His hand transformed into some kind of sonic radar, and emitted a high intensity frequency code signal in all directions. After a minute of silence he replied "her transponder snail is not present in this city. She has most likely been taken out of here already"

"Can you somehow tell where it was last located?" asked Guy

"Let me try" said Antak, and this time transformed both his hands, flew high up in the air, and emitted ultra high frequency and intensity electromagnetic and sonic waves in all directions. Sparks started to appear all around him, and all the electronic devices and gadgets in the nearby area started to go haywire. 'Find it, find it, find it, the smallest trace in this 200 km big city, damn its so hard with so many electronic items around. I need more power. Electricity!'

"Rimuru san" said Antak, and he understood.

"Veldora, fire a bolt on him" 

With that veldora transformed into a human dragon hybrid, summoned a storm, and directed a bolt of lightning on Antak. 

*Crack*

The next moment, a burst of energy radiated in all directions, and all the nearby gadgets exploded one by one.

"I found it"

"Alright then. Lets go greet our guest"
