Kimmy took a deep breath and slowly let it out. She kept her eyes closed as she sat on the roof, in a meditating position, legs crossed, hands in fists pressed against each other.

"Focus..." She mutters to herself.  Breathe in. Breathe out. Her body started to give off a faint yellow glow. "You can do this, you're alone and calm, now just-"

"Kimmy!!" Mikey's voice interrupted her thoughts and she sighed. She opened her eyes and the yellow glow faded away. She looked down and raised an eyebrow.

"What's up, bro?" She asked looking confused, she saw Mikey standing there looking up at her, along with Kirby. They were both wearing winter coats, and Kirby had his arms crossed.

"Are you gonna stay out here much longer?" Kirby asks raising an eyebrow.

"I'm busy meditating," She says shaking her head. "I'll come back inside once this ability is figured out." Kirby looked at Mikey, and Kimmy couldn't hear what was being said between them, but Mikey grinned and ran/flipped up the stairs on the porch and into the house.

"Okay, Kimberly, you need to come inside, or you'll catch a cold. Whatever this ability is can wait," Kirby calls up and Kimmy rolled her eyes.

"it's important, i need to do this." She closed her eyes again, but they didn't stay closed for long as someone grabbed the back of her shirt. She yelped as she felt herself being slowly dragged across the roof. She looked back and gasped. "Raphael! How could you?"

"Easily, now get ya shell...uh....just get inside," Raph says as he carefully gets Kimmy in through the bedroom window. Raph closed the window and walked towards the bedroom door. "Now stay in," Kimmy grumbled and crossed her arms before walking out of the bedroom and downstairs. Raph walked over to the couch and sat down with Mikey, Donnie was working on something at the kitchen table, and Splinter was sitting in front of the fireplace.

"Kimberly," Splinter says and Kimmy walked over to him.

"I know Sensei, I need ta focus more," Kimmy says shaking her head. "I've been focusing all day and still...nothing. I got a small glow and that's it."

"My daughter, your powers will come with patients." Splinter says and Kimmy sighs.

"I'm trying," She rubs the back of her neck. "It's just....it's hard, it feels like my powers just aren't responding to me anymore."

"Take a break, my child." Splinter says calmly and Kimmy nods and walks towards the stairs. Kirby starts walking inside.

"oh good, they got you inside," Kirby says smiling as he closes the door behind himself. "Mind if I speak with ya?" Kimmy shrugged and walked upstairs, Kirby followed.

Kimmy sat on the windowsill and looked at the snow-covered ground. She looked towards the barn, he eldest brother was in there, she just knew it.

"So, you wanna get on my case about taking a break too?" Kimmy asks not looking at Kirby as he pulled a chair over and sat down.

"Nah, I'm not about lectures," Kirby says shaking his head. "I wanna see if you're okay."

"Huh?" Kimmy says before looking over at him. "I'm fine, why?"

"You don't seem fine, kid," Kirby says raising an eyebrow. "None of you guys seem fine. I met you and Don and sure, you guys laughed and seemed happy, before and after that crazy adventure we had, but something feels off. I don't know you guys, as well as Casey and April, seem to, but I'm not blind."

"Things have just....been hectic lately, that's all," Kimmy says looking back out the window. "With Foot Ninja invading our home, Leo getting hurt, Shredder being back, and....what happened in April's shop...."
