"okay, we are leaving now. don't get into trouble. ryan you are in charge," my mom threw my brother his copy of the house keys that normally, he wasn't allowed to have.
our parents were leaving for the weekend to go to las vegas. why where they going? who cares! we had the house to ourselves for the weekend.
"okay bye now!" i tried to get them to leave as soon as possible. as much as i loved my mom and dad, i needed a getaway from them for a little.
"i'm not joking, if you guys do anything remotely illegal..." my mom started to lecture us before my brother cut her off, thank god.
"we won't," he assured her. it was a lie, but whatever it took to get them to leave soon, right?
"mhm, love you guys. be safe!" she yelled as my dad drove away from the house.
"finally," i said through my teeth as i smiled and waved them away.
we walked back inside through the back and into the kitchen. "so, what are we gonna do?" i asked eagerly.
"i dunno, we could throw a house party. dad has like endless bacardi and alc," ryan suggested. i nodded my head and it was set: we were having a house party.
it was friday, so we planned on having the party tomorrow. for today, we were just going to invite our friends over and smoke per usual.
"i have bud, but i need a cart so bad," i told him as i grabbed a brownie from the pantry.
"i have one, but you can't have it," he said. he was so stingy with his carts. unlike me, who offered a hit to anyone that asked. that was probably the reason why i didn't have one.
"kay thanks," i went up to my room. i went onto snapchat and started posting about the party on my story. i told them to bring their own flower, but alcohol would be provided.
a bunch of people started screenshotting and sliding up on the story. i opened my snaps and snapped everyone back. i told the guys, jackie, and codeh to pull up to our house at six tonight.
it was two hours until then so for the time being, i sat in my room, listening to music, and scrolled through instagram.

around six, our friends started showing up. codeh and jackie, who were mainly my friends, showed up before the boys. we went up to my room and started to chill.
we hung out in my room until the guys arrived, then headed down to the basement. my friends got along pretty well with the guys, so it was always a vibe to be around all of them at once.
my brother grabbed his rubber duck bong and his stash he kept in his closet. i grabbed my lighter from one of the endless cabinets and we sparked up.
jackie didn't like bud as much as she liked carts. i didn't mind it, but i definitely liked edibles more than anything. our friends liked to joke that i was the "munch queen" of the group.
