Monarch Vs Apex

Within a few days, ads and flyers were released by both organisations. Monarch had contacted supreme court to begin taking Apex for trial against their fraudulent activities. The headlines on the papers were all about would it be either Monarch or Apex, who is better to look after the Titans? Apex: Fact or fraud?

In a secret place, Alan Jonah was reading the papers of Monarch's court announcement. Jonah then read a part which mentioned Apex' response to Monarch's callout it read: "Monarch has little idea how badly the Titans affect humans" Jonah just scoffed and placed it down. Jonah himself believed Apex although a reliable asset, was ridiculously delusional in their propaganda.

Rybekov: Jonah

Jonah: Rybekov.

Rybekov: We tested the Apex Orca on some Leafwings, it works perfectly. My men just hunted them and are currently harvesting the DNA.

Jonah: Excellent. 

Rybekov: Do you think Apex actually has a chance of winning this case.

Jonah: I strongly doubt it.

Rybekov: If they lose the case, we'll lose our trade deal with them, meaning no more vehicles or weapon supplies.

Jonah: If we can't buy them anymore, we'll just take them from Monarch

Rybekov: No argument there my friend, let's see how this court plays out.

A few days later at Washington DC, Monarch and Apex both arrived for the court case, many Monarch supporters as well as Apex supporters were there, divided by the fences of course as Monarch and Apex made their ways in.

The groups took their respective seats as the trial began

U.S Senator: This court between Monarch and Apex is now in session

U.S Senator 2: We will begin first by calling forth Apex Cybernetics.

U.S Senator: Apex Chairman, your organisation has been summoned for these allegations against you, how plead you?

Apex Operative: Not guilty, they've completely got it the wrong way and have nothing to prove us guilty of anything.

Mark: Is that so?

Apex Operative: Yes, we firmly believe it's YOU that should be guilty, as you've been turning blind eyes to the Titans effects on youth and the rest of humanity.

Mark: By all means. Speak your defences first.

Nick, Ada, Jia were sitting with Dr Andrews watching the trial continue as Apex continued stating their defense

Nick: They're really delusional.

Ada: Wait till they get to the part about Mechagodzilla

Apex Official: As some may know, we have almost finished repairs on Mechagodzilla. We have plans to attack Lagos Island and Infant Island with it. All we ask is your permission

U.S Senator: Sorry, this is a government court, not an approval committee. Now i will call forth Monarch Sciences for their testimonies.

Mark: Thank you. My first witness to testify, my daughter Madison.

U.S Senator: Madison, please come forward

Madison came up forward and began

Madison: Thank you, sir. 

Everyone was silent as Madison began

Madison: Before the Hong Kong incident, I was convincing my dad that Godzilla was not attacking on purpose, but whistleblower Bernie Hayes knew what was going on.

U.S Senator: Wasn't Mr Hayes meant to come and testify today?

Madison: Yes, but due to the more..personal reasons for his hate for Apex, he asked me to testify his part.

U.S Senator: Continue.

Madison: Before Bernie started TTP and joined Apex. His wife was working for them, all seemed normal until she was killed in a crash, before she died she left a note for him. It read: "Godzilla > Apex > Monarch Contract > shipping manifest > component for bomb."

Mark: After the Ghidorah incident, Bernie concluded that bomb was the Oxygen Destroyer, and his wife was actually killed because of what she knew.

U.S Senator: *to the Apex operative* Is this true?

Apex Official:...Only the part with the Oxygen Destroyer. We built it and supplied it to the US military.

U.S Senator: Continue, Russell

Madison: Me, my friend Josh and Bernie infiltrated Apex and discovered them testing Mechagodzilla. Using illegally transported Skullcrawlers as guinea pigs, Mechagodzilla was being controlled using the leftover skull of Ghidorah, causing to act violently and go on it's rampage in Hong--

Apex Official: Bullshit, nothing went wrong. Your honour, Maddie is just misguided by the---

Madison: Shut up. Your honour, we can't risk another Hong Kong incident. I've said my testimony and hope you decide soon.

U.S Senator: Please be seated Mrs Russell. Now, i call one of the scientists, who was on the Hollow Earth expedition before the incident, Dr Nathan Lind.

Nathan came up forward and begun

Nathan: Thank you. Senator, I will now explain my part of the story during the Hollow Earth expedition

U.S Senator: Begin, please.

Nathan: I was greeted by Walter Simmons and..Ren Serizawa, yes the actual son of our late leader Dr Ishiro Serizawa. They told me all about the plan to find the power source in the Hollow Earth and how i'd help them

Ada: *pissed* A reaaal successor....

Nathan: During our expedition, Maia Simmons ordered the men to extract the energy source when we finally found it, when me and Dr Andrews objected to this, she ordered her men to pull their guns on me, including Jia. Yeah, Apex men threatening to kill a kid, you heard me. 

U.S Senator: Hm, carry on please

Nathan: My conclusion is after Kong dealt with Maia and her men and we returned to Hong Kong, we had to use their HEAV to revive him and from there, he helped Godzilla destroy the rampaging mecha. Apex still says things that try to put them in positive light, but that ends today. That concludes my testimony.

Nick: Mom's next
