Secret Garden [Haku x Reader]

Chapter 8

"Thank you." (Y/N) nodded to one of the servants as they put away the paper scrolls they had been looking over the moment before. Letting out a sigh, they leaned back and listened to the birds singing outside. They had told Haku to take a walk in the smaller garden in front of the palace while they finished up some work. It was a lovely day so Haku had agreed to meet them for a long walk when they were done writing.
A commotion stirred the peaceful sounds. They knitted their brow as they stood up and walked over to the window and looked outside.

Haku had been sitting on one of the benches in the flower garden, enjoying the sun when the Princess had come up to him. She looked angry and disgusted as she stood with her arms crossed. She had started going on about how he ruined everything she had prepared for. And (Y/N) was hers from the beginning. He tried walking away, uncomfortable by the sudden confrontation, but she had grabbed his arm harshly making him hiss loudly as her long nails dug into his skin. She started yelling at him, clearly aggravated. Haku started curling into himself as he tried to get away. A loud slap came in contact with his cheek, leaving a bright red mark. He yelped out loudly in pain and a loud growl shook the earth.

(Y/N) stood on the balcony, scanning the garden for the sounds of disturbance. Slowly they laid eyes on the source, the Princess was yelling at Haku with big gestures. They studied the two for a moment before they saw the harsh slap landing on Haku's cheek. Immediately they growled loudly before flying off the balcony in dragon form.

Haku watched in horror as (Y/N) flew down and attacked the princess who quickly turned into a dragon to protect herself. Her seemingly wet, pearlescent scales were indeed pretty, but nothing compared to (Y/N)'s larger form covered in white and gold. He cried out for them to stop as the fight for dominance became more and more violent, the two snake bodies wrestling around. Every once in a while one of them would fly up in the air to catch more force.
"(Y/N)!" He cried out as he rushed forward but slim arms were quick to catch him around his middle, dragging him back. He cast a quick glance over his shoulder and saw the red ears of Kin.
"Don't!" He called over the loud roars filling the sky. "You'll hurt yourself."

Haku's eyes widened as (Y/N) pinned her down to the ground with a heavy, clawed foot against her chest.
"(Y/N)!" He called out one last time as he watched them open their sharp-toothed mouth over her neck. Their sharp eyes snapped over at him. He shuddered in Kin's grasp as they growled at the princess before crawling towards him. The hot air rushing from their nostrils rose like smoke again his skin but he took a step forward as he felt Kin's grasp let go.
"(Y/N)." He breathed out once more before placing a hand on their snout. They huffed at him before turning to the princess, stance protecting Haku from her.
"Leave." The hissing voice emitting from their chest travelled strangely in the air as the princess fumbled away with her father, now back in human form. "Never come back." They warned as they watched them disappear towards the gates.

Haku rushed forward, into (Y/N)'s arms as he saw them turn human again.
"Haku." They mumbled, out of breath, as they scanned his face while placing a shaking hand on his cheek. He frowned as he felt the wet feeling of blood on the palm of their hand. He quickly grabbed it to inspect, making them frown.
"You're hurt."
"Don't worry." They took his hand in their blood covered one and started guiding him back inside.
"I see those two ONE. MORE. TIME!" They took a deep breath. Everyone in the main hall stiffened in fear. "The one to let them inside my walls will regret it." Haku found it strangely attractive seeing them so full of power.
Slow clapping came from one of the seats. Looking over, General Zhenwu was seen sitting in his previous seat with a smirk plastered on his lips.
"Impressive." He tilted his head to lean on his hand.
"Shut it." They warned before following a servant who helped them to their freshly cleaned room.

"Give me a moment." Their hand slipped out of Haku's as they walked across the bridge to the island in the pond. They slowly, and tiredly untied their robes before slipping into the water, turning into their dragon form as they sank into the infinite depths of the pond.
Haku frowned for a moment before following their action and slipping out of his clothes before dipping into the water. Only, he kept a steady grip on the edge of the island as he soaked in the surprisingly warm water. (Y/N)'s own extreme body heat from the fight had left the water to heat up.
He gave them their time as they calmed down alone deep in the water before he could make out their body floating up towards the surface.

They snaked their arms around his waist as they emerged at the surface, face coming to nuzzle against his collarbone.
"Haku." Their voice was a hoarse whisper as they closed their eyes in relief. He hummed. "Let me mark you." He blushed at their question before nodding shyly. He felt their tongue grace the space between his neck and shoulder a couple of times before they started leaving small love bites. He shuddered as their teeth became Hatcher and harsher until they found the spot to sink deep into his skin. A breathy moan slipped past his lips at the feeling as their hands stroked the sensitive skin of his waist soothingly.
"Mine~" They hummed in approval as they pulled back. He could see the affection reflect in their eyes as a newfound warmth.
Haku yelped as they hoisted him up onto the platform before following. He crawled back onto the mattress, watching as they crawled over to him with hungry eyes.
"Don't you run away now, baby~" Their voice grew deep as their tail flickered in excitement behind them. "You don't know what you've started." They mumbled into his neck as they reached their mouth onto the skin again, drawing out quiet mewling sounds from him as they continued.
The loud purring sound emitting from their chest surprised Haku before he relaxed to the soothing sound. He wrapped his legs around their hips, feeling their long nails trail goosebumps.
"You're all mine now~" They chuckled as his cheeks dusted red.
"Yeah." He breathed out with a smile.
