just to avoid any confusion later on- this story is set in the modern day but communication within the dollhouse is partly "old-fashioned". hopefully it makes more sense in the story!

Walk of shame, for most, is returning home by foot in the same clothes as the night before after a casual sexual encounter with someone. For Seokjin, on the other hand, it's walking back to his bedroom after being dismissed from the Master's quarters barely an hour into his visit. It appears that three of the dolls had predicted this because they're still loitering in the hallways when Seokjin returns. They whisper and giggle amongst each other but Seokjin does not acknowledge them as he walks past without a glance and slams the door on his way into his bedroom. He screams into his pillow out of frustration and he mentally curses at himself for not keeping his mouth shut.

Of course he argued with the Master. Why wouldn't he when his only option is to leave the DollHouse if he refuses to accept the terms in the new contract? He's not allowed to engage in any sexual activity with another person whatsoever but the person who's imposing these rules and regulations won't make love to him either. How is that fair in any way? The DollHouse is widely recognised and praised for its fair treatment towards all dolls and staff yet Seokjin is being treated unfairly. This isn't what he signed up for.

What is he supposed to do? He doesn't want to lose contact with Jungkook but how can he stay with such extreme restrictions placed on him and only him? If he could understand Jungkook's thought process then maybe he could convince Jungkook to be more lenient, but Jeon Jungkook is quite the enigma.

Taking a deep breath, Seokjin sits up on his bed with his legs crossed. If Jungkook continues to treat him this way then he may have to go behind Jungkook's back as a last resort. This no sex rule is absolutely ridiculous and it's not fair to Seokjin when Jungkook sleeps with every other doll and those dolls can sleep with whoever they want to sleep with.

For the remainder of the night Seokjin remains locked inside his bedroom. He was smart enough to add fuel to the fire after he finished his dinner and luckily he has a fully stocked mini fridge in his room if he happens to feel hungry. He also has an ensuite bathroom if nature calls. Even if he wants some fresh air he can go out onto the balcony from his room. He has access to everything he needs, so his bedroom is where he stays for the rest of the night.

Right before midnight, he goes out onto his balcony for some fresh air but also to get an update on his Master. He has the perfect view and earshot of the Master's balcony since his bedroom is situated in the centre of the second floor of the mansion while the Master's bedroom is on the far left on the third floor. Unfortunately he can't see into Jungkook's bedroom but he sees a dim light coming from it which means that Jungkook is awake.

Seokjin stands close to the railing so that he'll be able to get a glimpse of the balcony above him and he waits for some motion. It takes a few minutes but he hears a door slide open from above, making his heart race, and he quickly moves away from the railing to avoid being seen. He soon hears voices and he doesn't like the exchange of words.

"Is this okay with you, sweetheart? We can go back inside if you're cold," he hears Jungkook say to someone in the softest voice.

"It's okay, baby. I like it here."

Seokjin recognises the voice as Violet's—a very beautiful, intelligent, and graceful doll. She's one of the few dolls who are kind to him. She's drama-free and always minds her own business. Even the dolls who are hostile to Seokjin respect her.

"It's always so gorgeous up here," Seokjin hears Violet say.

"In deed, it is," Jungkook says.

Seokjin takes a quick peek and his heart drops at the sight. Violet's gazing at the stars in the night sky and Jungkook is gazing at Violet as if she's the only star in the sky. Jungkook then holds Violet's waist from behind and he peppers kisses along the side of her neck. Soon Violet's satin nightdress falls to the floor.
