As I waited for the elevator to reach the apartments unit of the Plaza, I glanced at my watch and relaxed my grip on my suitcase. Suddenly, the elevator stopped and the doors slid open.

It was a tall, good-looking man who was dressed in a suit and was carrying a briefcase. He got in without a word, pressed the floor button, and moved to a corner of the elevator.

I noticed that the floor we had stopped on contained shops and the tenants of the Plaza were walking to-and-fro. Considering the fact that it was quite late at night, it was strangely comforting to see so many people.

When the elevator reached the first floor of the apartments unit, I got out and started to walk around, looking for my apartment. For the next 20 minutes, I walked around the entire apartments unit, but I couldn't find where I was supposed to move in.

When I reached the top floor, I ran into the same man again, but this time he wasn't wearing a suit anymore. Instead, he wore designer sleeping robes. I realized that the man lived on this floor.

As I passed by him, he said, "It looks like you've been walking around for a long time, Miss." I said, turning around to look at him, "I have. How did you notice?".

He smiled lightly and said, "You've been pulling a suitcase with you since you got off the elevator. This obviously means that you're lost. Which apartment number are you?". I said, also smiling, "607." The man said, "Well, I guess we're neighbors then."

He pointed at the door to his left and sure enough, it had the number '607' on it. I bowed to him slightly, went over to the door and opened it with my keys. I said, "Thank you, neighbor. Have a good night." Then, I entered my apartment and shut the door.

I switched on the lights and looked around the small living space. There was a small kitchen, one bathroom, a bedroom and a little living room with a coffee table and a TV.

I left my bag in the bedroom and went back to the living room. I looked out the window to the stars and said, "I made you a promise, Chayoung. I'll meet the tenants tomorrow as you told me to. And hopefully, I'll earn their trust. Perché ne avrò bisogno nella guerra che sta arrivando (Because I will need it in the war that's coming)."
