Virgil was laying on his bed as he scrolled through Pinterest, when suddenly a figure appeared.
They were tall, their features were lined with emerald scales that glistened as they moved, they had golden snake-like eyes that shone like honey on a midsummer's noon and they gave off a faint glow. Their outfit made them look like a Roman god, and their hair could not be described as a singular colour because it seemed like all colours, yet none at the same time.
Virgil was such a bright shade of red behind his foundation.
"Hello there mortal." The figure's voice was like a perfect melody played on the most majestic harp.
"Uh, hi? Why are you here?" Virgil did not know how to react, he hoped to not come off as rude.
"Oh, I was just bored and the twins were giving me a headache." The figure looked Virgil up and down, "You look dreadful by the way."
"Thanks, you too." Sarcasm was evident in Virgil's voice.
"I know you're lying. You think I'm handsome, don't you?" The figure teased, their face next to Virgil's.
Virgil looked away, "Maybe."
