Chapter 2 Thoughts

In those few words my whole world spun. If it was really possible for vampires to go into shock, I was right now. I heard a few voices in the background that sounded like they were arguing. I made out a few words from a velvet sounding voice saying something like 'See I told you this would happen.' I wanted to speak, to tell them to stop arguing but I couldn't open my mouth to speak. I felt hands go around my waist and I felt my self being lifted up and moved to somewhere. I kept on hearing voices around me but I couldn't make out the words. I was laid down onto a bed or couch but I knew it was something comfortable. If I could fall asleep, I knew I would want to. Then a beautiful voice that sounded like bells sounded.
"Whats wrong with mum?" It said. It sounded amazing. Another few voices sounded before I 'saw' something. It flooded through my mind as if gate ways have been opened. It showed me laying on the couch frozen with my mouth open and my eyes even wider. I looked terrible. I knew that this is not the way I wanted my daughter to see me so I sat up and smiled. My vision, hearing and smell all came back at once. Carlisle Alice, Renesmee, Esme, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett and Edward were all standing in front of me with the same look on their faces. Worry. Did I really just go into shock?
Renesmee jumping into my arms and hugged me. I could feel her blood rushing through her veins when I felt water on my back. I looked up at my daughter and she had tears in her beautiful brown eyes.
"Please don't do that again," she said, sobbing. Was it really worse than I thought?
"How long was I out?" I asked no one in particular.
"Three days." Carlisle answers while writing in his journal. THREE DAYS. Wait where was Charlie?
"Wheres Charlie?" I asked, fear taking over. Had they come over while I was away? Was Charlie still alive?
"He's fine, Bella. We have the pack roaming around his and our house. We also bought a house for the Denali's near his house so that they can keep tabs on his house too. Chill Bella, he is safe," Edward cooed. I felt better after hearing that the Denali's were here. They had powers that would keep my dad safe.
"Wait, wait wait. Why are they coming after Charlie?" I asked suddenly realising they had no reason to.
"With Charlie dating Sue and Sue's son and daughter being werewolves, he found out about us and being Vampires. He worked it out himself and asked us to reassure him. We told him yes so I guess the Volturi found out about that..." Alice replied. Everyone nodded showing me that this was the truth. "Anyway now that your up, Charlie will be over in a second so you better get changed!"
"Wait, Charlie knows I went in to shock!" I shouted.
"Duh, he's your father. What were we supposed to do?" She replied. I sighed and ran upstairs to Edward and I's bedroom. I zipped into the closet and grabbed the first thing I could find, a cute blue short sleeved top and some tight skinny jeans. I heard Renesmee's funny heart beat and Alice's dance-like footsteps go into Renesmee's bedroom. I heard Alice walk into Renesmee's closet and sigh. I giggled and started brushing my hair out. Although I didn't need to, I was still used to my human routines. Then I hear Charlies cruiser pull off the highway and onto our street.
"He's here," was all I heard Esme say as I zip into the living room to wait for Charlie.

As Edward, myself and Renesmee let Charlie into the house, he look a bit frightened of Edward and a bit suspicious of me. I had to hold back a laugh as he walked past us. I heard Edward chuckle lightly next to me and I looked up at him to see what he was laughing about. He saw my puzzled look and chuckled even further.
"He's wondering how you could be so perfect after you just got out of shock," Edward answered my unspoken question. I giggled lightly. Alice.
I walked slowly after Charlie with Renesmee and Edward at my sides. I took a few unneeded breaths as we sat down next to eachother. Charlie spoke first.
"So it's true, your all v-vampires?" Trust Charlie to cut right to the chase. We all nodded our heads, well except Renesmee of course. He simply nodded back. He was taking a while to talk again so I looked up at Edward and gave him a 'whats happening look'.
"He's just processing the fact that we 'kill humans and sleep in coffins'" Edward said quietly so that everyone but Charlie could hear him. Thats when I noticed a confused look on Charlies face. Poor Charlie, I remembered how I felt when I found out. Suddenly Charlie looked up at everyone and he was whiter than before. I panicked.
"Your going to kill me?" Charlie hoarsely said. He had fear written all over him.
"Absolutely not Charlie!" Carlisle reassured. "We all feed off animals, thats why our eyes are gold and not red like others of our kind."
"Theres more?!" Charlie said, returning to his white state. Carlisle suddenly looked guilty. He wished he didn't let that out.
"Unfortunately, yes. But we are not the only good ones in this world. Some do however feed off humans and that is not there fault, they were bred and told to live that way, they have not even thought about animal blood as an option." Esme stated, sorryness in her mothering eyes. Charlies colour started coming back but then Emmett spoke.
"Some of the bad vamps are after you, Charlie. They were after Bella too and Renesmee but we all fought them. Well not really but we did in Alice's vision. They read her thoughts and saw that. They stopped." He stated, just letting the words flow out his mouth as if Charlie already knew everything. Charlie then grew whiter than before. If it was safe to say, he was whiter than everyone in the room.
"EMMETT!!!" We all yelled in unison. Esme looked at Charlie apologetic and everyone looked at Emmett with anger. Emmett realised his mistake. He looked at Edward and obviously started thinking.
"Don't you dare!" Edward suddenly shouts. Charlie looked up with confusion in his eyes. I wouldn't be surprised if he was about to have a heart attack. Edward suddenly looked zoned ourt and so did Alice. She was obviously having a vision and Edward was watching it. Edward sighed. "I suppose its time for you to know the truth, Charlie. Carlisle would you like to start?"
"My pleasure, Edward," He replied, and turned to look at Charlie.
