Fire and Water ~Kent (Wednesday)

Nevermore academy

"Come on darling you're going to love it here" my mother said as we're on our way to Nevermore academy. She's wanted me to go for years but it was until I got expelled from my other school for burning a kid that she finally got her wish. It wasn't my fault he made me mad. I continued to ignore her as she knew I was mad. "You'll finally be with people like you. I'm sure your dad will be very proud of you" my mother said as we drove into the gates of Nevermore. When she left after I got my uniform I turned to the school and slowly made my way to my dorm. "Welcome to hell" I muttered as I walked into my dorm. After I finished packing I heard two voices, I turned to see a girl my age and an older lady with red hair. "Welcome to Nevermore" the red haired woman said as she reached her hands out with a sunflower in her hands. "I read your file and saw that you seemed to like fire so this was the closest I had at the moment" she said as I took the flower and set it on my desk. "This here is Davina and she will be your roommate" she said as she pointed to the other girl. "I'm sure you too will be the best of friends." She continues. I look at Davina and see that she has scales on her forehead and realize she's a siren. "And what's your name miss?" I ask looking away from Davina and back to the red haired woman. "Oh I'm ms. Thornhill I'm like the dorm mom around here. And we have some rules like no boys except Kent because he's Davina's twin and not setting anything on fire." Said warningly when she finished speaking. "Now I hope you have an amazing year here at Nevermore academy." Said ms. Thornhill then walked out leaving me and Davina alone. "I'm Jules," I said as I began looking around. "Davina, I'm a siren, what are you?" She said as she began walking towards her bed. "Um I'm not really sure but I can summon fire I know that for sure." I say as I begin walking towards my own bed. She hums and grabs her jacket and walks to the door. "I'm going outside your welcome to come with" she said, stopping and turning towards me. "You know what, sure why not," I say, grabbing my own jacket and walking with her. As we got to what looks to be a pentagon shaped space she turned to me and told me to feel free to meet new people and that she was going with her friends. As she walks away some girl with blond hair with blue and pink streaks comes up to me. "Hi I'm Enid, would you like to be friends with me" she says very confidently. "Hi I'm Jules and sure why not." I said slightly laughing. "I'm the eyes and the ears of this place so if you have any questions you can always come to me" she says after we start walking around. "There are many interesting flavors of monsters you're going to meet but here are the most important. The vampires, werewolves, and sirens." She said as she pointed to all of them. When she pointed to the sirens I saw Davina and nodded slightly. "And that is Bianca, she's the queen bee of the school and she's dating Xavier Thorpe," pointing to another guy who was painting on the wall. When the principal comes outside with us and walks up the stage. "Hello students, it's time for class schedules to be delivered. Classes start tomorrow and I hope you have a wonderful year here at Nevermore academy." She says and walks off. All of a sudden there are papers in our hands. When I checked what it was I saw it was our schedules. As I continued reading my schedule I got a tap on my shoulder, as I turned to see who tapped me I saw Davina. "Let's compare schedules and see what classes we have together" she said while a guy is behind her kind of staring at me. "You have three classes with me but all the same classes with my brother Kent." She says as she gives me my schedule back. "Hi I'm Kent" the guy who was staring at me said, extending his hand. I reached for his hand and shook it slightly, jumping when I felt a weird shock. "Jules" I say shortly, not really feeling like socializing a lot anymore. When I looked up from our hands to his eyes I saw how beautiful he looked, from the chiseled chin to the long beautiful brown hair. After a few seconds of staring Enid finally walks up to us and starts dragging me to god knows where.
