The Infirmary was, to say the least, one of the the less welcoming places Isolabella found herself in at the school. It could have been the gloomy weather outside, making the room itself look cold and dull, but nonetheless she continued on watching the nurse clean Wednesday's wound. Behind the girl, was the boy from earlier, Rowan, who Isolabella somehow remember the name of, sitting in a chair behind them getting his heart rate checked.

"You're Wednesday, right?" He spoke up, as the nurse finished putting a small bandaid on her forehead. Isolabella watched as the girl turned in her chair to look at the boy, while herself just glanced between them.

"Rowan." He introduced himself when the new set of eyes landed on him, "I know how you feel"

"I guarantee you don't" Wednesday stood up, arms crossed in front of her.

"My mother promised me I'd finally fit in somewhere," He took a large breathe and continued, "I never thought it was possible to be an outcast in a school full of outcasts. But it looks like you guys are gonna give me a run for my money."

"Ouch." Isolabella spoke up from her sitting position on the stool.

"Uh..Sorry about the nick." He ignored the brunette, lifting his arm to his own forehead, referencing Wednesday's wound.

"No good deed goes unpunished." Wednesday replied before leaving him sitting there.

"My name is Isolabella by the way." Isolabella firmly stated, "You know, the other newbie sitting right here." She stood and turned to follow Wednesday out the door.

Isolabella shut the Infirmary's door, as Wednesday left it wide opened and slightly jogged to catch up to her friend, "He seems wonderful" she chuckled

"As dull as the rest of the students here." Was her only reply. She paused at the edge of the corridor, watching the rain pour down.

"Wanna share that umbrella you have." Isolabella sighed at the rain, wishing they chose a different route to take that didn't involve getting getting drenched.

Not hearing a reply from the girl, she took at glance at her only to see Wednesday already opening her umbrella and walking forward, leaving Isolabella to handle the rain on her own.

"I'm starting to question whether you actually value this friendship." Isolabella joked and shook her head, quickly running across the yard, following Wednesday from behind. Hearing stone moving from above, she looked up and suddenly became panicked, "Wednesday!" She tried to warn, shoving her self in front of her as she looked up to the statue that was about to fall. It titled forward, falling free from the ledge as Isolabella lifted her own hand, trying to use her own magic to try and stop the fall.

To her own shock, a loud voice rang out and a body slammed into her, not giving her enough time to even attempt bringing her magic forward, and knocking her to the ground.

The last thing the girl remembering was her head hitting stone.

When the girl awoke, the grim stone walls of the infirmary welcomed her again and she groaned, shifting on the bed. She brought a hand up to her head and opened her eyes wider to take in her surroundings. To her surprise, Xavier Thorpe stood above her, watching her as she woke back up, "Welcome back"

"What the hell." She quickly sat up, though that was a large mistake. A stabbing feeling in her head appeared at the sudden movement, causing her once again to groan out and press a hand to the back of her head.

"Just take it easy." He said, glimpsing at the hand that she placed on the back of her head, "The nurse said you don't have a concussion, but you probably have a nasty bump, huh?"
