Chapter 14: Suited For Success

It's been awhile since the whole Zecora incident and a few things have happened.

First, there was the parasprite incident which happened when Fluttershy found a parasprite and it brought into town to show her friends. All of her friends became enamored with the parasprite except for you and Pinkie Pie as she knew what the parasprites are and stormed off to get musical instruments which can be used to put the parasprites under a spell so she could get rid of them and you went to help her.

Your warned your friends of the parasprites reproduce asexually by coughing up another parasprites and that they are known for relentlessly devouring crops and food which means they could eat every single food and crop in Ponyville if they aren't kept an eye on. Your friends did the best they could to watch the parasprites but the bugs were sneaky enough to eat enough food to reproduce into a giant horde that tried to eat everything single food in Ponyville.

Twilight almost used a spell to stop the parasprites from eating all of the food in town but you stopped her and told her that spell would make the parasprites eat objects instead of food and the one who knows how to deal with the parasprites is Pinkie Pie which surprised everyone as Pinkie used all of the musical instruments she could get to play a song that put the parasprites under her spell and sent them away into the Everfree Forest where they couldn't cause trouble.

Then there was the competition between Rainbow Dash and Applejack where they decided to see who was the better athlete by having an Iron Pony competition, a series of sports events which Rainbow Dash won mostly thanks to her wings which annoyed Applejack who called it and then she challenged Rainbow Dash to the Running of the Leaves, a competition where ponies run through an track where their pounding footsteps cause the autumn leaves to shake off of trees.

Many ponies join Rainbow Dash (who was not allowed to use her wings) and Applejack in the Running of the Leaves, including you and Twilight which made Rainbow Dash and Applejack think Twilight was going to lose because she's only read books on races. The race was on it's way with both Applejack and Rainbow Dash in the lead until they started to sabotage each other and in the end, they both tied for last place while Twilight got fifth place and you got first place. Eventually both Applejack and Rainbow apologized over their poor sportsmanship and got too over competitive with each other so they both made up.

Then there was the time you stood up for the Cutie Mark Crusaders when they were being bullied by Diamond Tiara and her friend Silver Spoon because they were Blank Flank, ponies that don't have Cutie Marks and told the CMC not to rush getting their Cutie Marks and just go with the flow because they have potential and could end up with an amazing talent that will give them amazing Cutie Marks.

And then Winter came to Equestria for awhile and when Winter came to an end, the ponies of Ponyville had their annual event called Winter Wrap Up that involves cleaning up winter to bring in the season of Spring but without using magic. Twilight wanted to help out with Winter Wrap Up but she didn't know what to do until you pointed out she could help with the planning of Winter Wrap Up since Ponyville has failed to clean up winter in time for spring due to lack of planning and coordination in the past.

Thanks to you, Twilight became the All-Team Organizer for Winter Wrap Up and her planning allowed the ponies of Ponyville to clean Winter up just in time for spring.

Trixie would come by and visit Ponyville every once in awhile to see how things are going until she decided to stay in Ponyville and live in her caravan near your place.

So things have been okay for the time being.

You, Twilight and Trixie are walking through Ponyville and heading towards Carousel Boutique.
