"Oh."

"Well, this is quite intriguing."
"How does he keep managing to please the royal family?"
"This child is a disgrace."
"Shut up, they'll hear you."
Murmurs, everywhere Tubbo goes, it was following him. He sighed, deeply exhausted from all the work he was pondered on by the other maids and butlers. Why does everyone treat him like this? He is tired of all their pushing on him. He pouted, slamming the door behind him before he threw himself on the bed. Just as he was about to indulge in the sweet softness of the bed, the door creaked open and he quickly jumped off. He dusted himself before seeing who it was. "Your Highness!" he yelped, bending over to show respect only for the royalty to lift his head up. Their eyes locked upon one another. The prince's hand began to guide his head up which made Tubbo straighen his posture. "Tubbo, please, I've told you way too many times, you don't need to do that." the taller one reassured the boy, moving his hand over Tubbo's shoulder and patting it. Such motion made his shoulder hang loose and a small smile formed but it didn't last long. Tubbo soon looked away, avoiding the other's gaze. "So.. what brings you here, Tommy?" the brunette questioned, his brows rose and his eyes still avoiding to hold another eye contact with the prince.
"I come bearing an invitation from the King, to join us."
Oh no, what has he dragged himself to now!?
Tubbo swallowed back the lump in his throat as he fixes his new royal clothes that was gifted to him by Tommy. Thoughts and screaming filled his little mind as his hands fidgeted a button. He slowly looked up at the gigantic wooden door in front of him. The door was carved with designs of different butterflies fluttering around and over tree branches. People say that the King had always loved butterflies. Some said that it was because his wife died in a flower patch with butterflies. But some say, he just grew fond of them for how their beauty reminded him of his youth. No one knows much about the King, and thats the fact which Tubbo is anxious about. He's worried he was called here for all the rumours. Maybe he did something bad and he's gonna ge beheaded!? Taking in a deep breath, he slowly got a grasp of the gold, shining doorknob. He saw his hands that was shaking from fear but he couldn't keep them waiting for long. The small twist and a loud creak from the now ajar door was enough to take all the attention of the people inside. He took a step in and saw all of them, in the room, staring with such coldness.
"Hello, Your Highness.."
"Tubbo!" the sharpness of the silence that filled the room was swayed away by the loud and happy tone that came from the youngest of all the prince, Tommy or more commonly known as Theseus. He jumped and immediately trapped him into a hug, his arms wrapped around his waist. Tommy lifted the smaller one just a few centimetres off the ground before fully dropping the boy. "Boy, you are heavy!" he commented before noticing that Tubbo had his head down. He was about to say something about it when he heard a monotone voice speak up behind them. Tubbo looked up and Tommy turned over, they both saw a taller man with glasses and pink hair that looked slightly faded to brown. "Theseus, this is Tubbo? The infamous orphan child that got you and Orpheus all loving?" Tubbo took a small step back or else his neck would break from how much he had raised it just to see the prince eye to eye. "Techno, you're scaring him." a soft yet raspy voice was heard from behind the two. Techno and Tommy stepped aside and Tubbo was now face to face with the King. He sat on the throne, beside him was his eldest son and the crowned prince. In a panic, the little boy bent over and bowed "Y-your Majesty!" Now was the moment, to find out why he was called here. He gulped, standing up properly. Oh jeez, they were judging him so hard right now. His mouth opened and a question came out and the King just smiled as a respond.
"Why did you call me here?"
That's all it was? Tubbo blinked repeatedly before the voice of the King, Philza, brought him back to reality. "Would you like some more?" the old man smiled at him, a maid holding onto the small kettle. "Oh uhm... I wouldn't mind having some more.." the little one managed to reply back without a single stutter. He sighed, looking at the cup that was now fully refilled. "Tubbo, don't be so hesitant with us. We don't bite, you know?" the crowned prince spoke, Wilbur. He jested towards the small one causing him to turn red. He shook his head, calming down with a small breathing exercise. Tubbo smile warmly at the prince, his head slightly tilted onto the left. "Of course, prince Wilbur." his reply struck an arrow straight onto the older brunette's heart. Giggling came out of Tommy's lungs, he clearly understood that Wilbur was captured by the sweetness of the younger one. Tubbo just took a sip of the cup, observing the whole room. This used to give him an aura of cold, icy and spiky cave but now it was like a warm beach with nostalgia glazed on top.
'I guess this isn't.. so bad?'
From this day on, the spider on the garden had knitted a small web and before you know it, it shall have it feast.

"Our sunflower is here. He'll be here to stay forever. Do not let him out of your sight. Not again. We're not losing our only source of sunshine. Do you understand me?"
"Yes, Phil."
"Good. Whatever happened is our little secret. Remember that, boys."
"Our mouths are shut tight, Dad."
