Chapter 1- Looking Back

"I thought this time would never come."

It was a chilly night in the streets of Seoul when the Jeon sisters opted to take a stroll. To protect themselves from the winter wind, they were enveloped in thick coats and warm scarfs.

"I'm flying to France tomorrow so it's best if we make the most of the night," Maeghan says as she glances at her younger sister, "Where do you wanna go tonight?"

Margaux shrugs, feet shuffling on the snowy street, "Nagugutom na naman ako."

"Aren't you on a diet?"

"Oh God," Margaux groans, "Can't I eat a little more just this night?"

A chuckle escapes from Meg's mouth, "Well, being an idol requires a lot of self-discipline. It's your fault you can't eat anything you want."

"Wow, well, good for you because you just have to design clothes," she retorts, lips curling into a pout, "I always have to maintain a fit body and refrain from eating anything that ruins my voice."

Maeghan nods at her sister's statement, "Yeah, like ice cream. Poor you."

"Pakyu ka."

It was the only time they can squeeze into their hectic schedules after so many months. The Jeon sisters will be more busy for the following days not until Christmas break.

All of a sudden, a loud, obnoxious laughter erupts out of nowhere. Maeghan casts a quick glance at her sister as they continue to walk. No matter how much Margaux thought to just ignore it, she can't help but remember that familiar sound ringing in her ears.

Maeghan stares worriedly at her when she stops walking.

"Narinig mo ba?"

Margaux nods and averts her gaze to her sister, "Siya ba 'yun?"

"Seems like it. Tsaka tingin ko 'di siya nag-iisa."

They whipped their heads forward when they heard more familiar voices.

"I wonder where the Jeons are at." "Doesn't Maggie have a comeback or something?" "She and her group just recently had a comeback, dumbass."

The two girls shared contacts, looking as if they were using telepathy to communicate with each other.

Now they were sure of it. The one who laughed was him, and he was with them.

As if they already talked about what to do, they hurried to find where the voices were. They walked in a fast pace, heads turning now and then to every direction.

And Margaux sees them. She sees him.

Maeghan looks in the same direction and sees the three of them walking together down sidewalk. It's as if the world stopped spinning for a moment when the five of them locked gazes with each other.
