Tanjirō: "Can you tell the story of how you met Y/n?"
Kie: "Okay. It was a while ago..."
~Flashback~
Kie: (Narration) I was taking a walk in the woods when I heard a cry. A young animal cried, so I went to check on it.
Kie walks past a few broken trees and burnt grass.
Kie: (Narration) While walking towards what seemed to be a small fawn I noticed it was injured.
Kie walks to the baby. The qilin was bleeding from its' left hind leg.
Kie: "It's okay. I'm going to bring you to my home to fix you up."
Kie: (Narration) It took a few weeks for her to heal, but as soon as she was she refused to leave us. Your father was confused about why a wild deer wouldn't leave.
Kie: "Awe. Aren't you a pretty girl."
Tanjūrō: "Why isn't she leaving?"
Kie: (Narration) That's when your father noticed the scales on Y/n's back.
Tanjūrō: "Kie, why does the fawn have scales on it's back?"
~Present~
Kie: "...and she never left after that."
Tanjirō: "Woah!"
Tanjirō looks towards Y/n who is curled up in a ball asleep on a pillow.

Tanjirō: "Will she always stay?"
Kie: "I don't know. All we can do is be thankful that she stayed and continues to stay with us."
