LICKING BLEEDING WOUNDS

(BACK IN THE UNDERWORLD/1735HRS)

Millie and Blitz land in a now trashed office and see Moxie laying in the corner, bleeding, bruised and dealing with more than his fair share of pain. "What happened to you sweetie?" Millie asks as she quickly moves and holds her husband close to her. "It was awful." was all he could say for a moment then he sucks in a breath and screams in a voice that was louder than anyone thought he could have made "THAT F-ING PSYCHO B-! LOOK AT WHAT SHE DID TO ME!" Millie tried to calm him down for a minute then he finally calmed down enough to tell what happened.

(FLASHBACK 1 HR 15 MIN AGO)

"Where are dad and Millie?" Luna askes as she walks into the room. Moxie turns from the paperwork he was filing and says "They just went up to deal with your boyfriend in person." Luna just lays a hand on his shoulder and softly says "What?" Moxie just attempts continues to file paperwork first by gently moving her hand from his shoulder and continuing before she turns him around with a strange gentleness that was not characteristic of her and she looks at him with such a blank face that not even the best poker players in the living world or H- could have guessed what was building up below the surface as she says "What do you mean Moxie?" Moxie falling for the bluff tells her just what he means "Well, when you told your dad that you were pregnant, he and Millie went up to the surface to deal with your little problem." Luna just smiles in such a way that she looked like a little kid getting a much wanted present for Christmas as one of her eye twitches for just once as she says in her calmest voice "When did they leave?" Moxie who has no idea what is going on below the surface of the calm lake that is Lunas face tells when they left "About 15 minutes ago." Luna lets her bluff slip for only a moment when she places both hands on his shoulders and for that same amount of time considers crushing the bones beneath her hands then she snaps out of it as she drops her hands and says "Thanks for the info. One last question, did dad say what he planned to do to Robert?" "Well, he planned to kill him, of course." Lunas grins showing all her teeth in a crazy, twitching spazzed out smile for a moment as she comprehends what Moxie had just said, and in a fury she throws him against the filing cabinet and hits him multiple times in the face, splitting his lips and blackening both is eyes. As soon as she drops him to the floor, she kicks him in the ribs until she had busted almost all of them while  screaming at the top of her lungs. Luna sucks in her breath as Moxie tries to crawl away from the crazy hellhound when  she grabs him and breaks one of his legs like a stick for sport and screams "IF ROBERT DIES, SO DO YOU, ALL THREE OF YOU!" Luna picks up Moxie and throws him against the wall and picks up and hurls a chair at him as he falls to the ground, busting it against him and just as Moxies bloody lips open to beg for mercy Luna hurls him against a desk hard enough to break his back before running off to deal with her adopted father and Millie. 

(END FLASHBACK)

Moxie weeps as he finishes the story, Millie just stays quiet as she continues to hold Moxie close to her and Blitz is unable to believe just what is in front of his eyes and just what his beloved Luna had done for her lover.

(BACK IN THE LIVING WORLD/SAME TIME)

Luna holds Robert close to her as she sings a lullaby to his broken form and tears run down her face.

As he was bleeding she lay him back on the bed then wipes her eyes and begins to doctor his wounds as best as she can - singing as she does so - and before long she has all the wounds bandaged as best as she can, before long all the bleeding places were stopped and he lay where he was placed by Luna as he continues to blankly stare at the ceiling. Luna thinks to herself 'this is going to take a lot of patience, time, and love but I can nurse him back to health.' She lay back down beside him and places her hand in his and finishes the song.
