(April's POV)
I ran to the store to get Leo the cold medicine and sure enough I somehow manage to run into Vern.
"Hey! O'niel! Long time no see!" He waved me down. I acknowledged him as I began walking towards the isle I needed.
"Hi Vern...I'm really sorry but the boys have an emergency..."
"I'm sure they can handle it for a few minutes." I know they have handled other situations but, this is different. Donnie kept sending me texts saying its urgent I get this to her.
'Can't you stand in front of another shelf!?' I was reaching around him for the medicine.
"I have an idea. Come with me. You haven't seen the boys in a while." I walked away hurrying to pay. The boys can't come and get medicine. Vern in making this VERY hard. I was checking out just to find out I'm a dollar short.
"Vern. Do you mind? I have to get this to them fast. "I looked at him pleaded hoping he'd help me.
"Sure thing..." He sighed. As oblivious as he can be, he sure does always manage to show up at the perfect time.
"Alright let's go!" I began to run as Fern followed. He had a hard time keeping up with my pace. We showed up Vern out of breath as we made our way into the lair. He looked shocked as I tossed the medicine to Donnie.
"Who's that?" Vern asked. He saw the girl lying on the table.
