Together on the couch

Liz and Red are still on the run from the government. Currently, they are traveling through Alaska, where Raymond has a Safe House. They have been driving for days only stopping to buy food and sleep for a few hours every now and then.

„How long until we get there?", Liz asked curiously as she glanced out of the window. There was nothing to see but a beautiful white snow-filled landscape, with a few trees scattered here and there.

Seeing how tired she was, he told her, „It's still gonna take a few hours. If you are tired, you can sleep."

So she leaned her head against the car window and slowly fell asleep.

Liz woke up to Raymond swearing and hitting his hand against the steering wheel. The engine wouldn't start.

„I can't get it to start. We can't stay here. We have to keep moving. It's getting dark," Raymond said pointing at the setting sun behind the now-covered hill.

„All right but we have to find shelter soon, because I think it's gonna snow." Liz said noticing the darkening clouds. Red nodded, grabbed the few bags they carried with them, then they started walking.

Liz and Red had already been walking for quite a while. It was already dark and it was snowing lightly.

Luckily they found a tiny cabin and stepped inside. It was a small hunter cabin. They looked around. It had a fireplace, a bed-couch and a tiny kitchen corner.

„We have to get out of the wet clothes, before we catch a cold." Lizzie said while turning around and taking her top off.

Red froze for a moment, watching her as she undressed but quickly recovered and turned around to do the same. He took some dry clothes out of his backpack and put them on. It was a pair of sweatpants and a matching sweatshirt. Not what he would usually wear but it was sufficient for this moment and situation.

„Are you ready?" He asked, unsure if he could turn around.

„Yes."

They turned around at the same time. Liz grinned at Red.

"What?" Red asked, unsure why she grinned at him like that.

„It's just that I never saw you dressed this casual. But it looks good and suits you very well." Liz admitted.

He was surprised, „Oh, w..well thank you very much Lizzy. I should get the fire started."

He walked to the fireplace, there were just a few pieces of dry wood. But Red saw some in front of the cabin. He would need to get them inside to let them dry a bit. He just needed a few minutes to light the fire. Liz watched him the entire time.

„I'm gonna put the couch in front of the fire place then you can warm up.", he told Liz, to which she nodded. So he did just that.

"Alright, get comfortable. I have a blanket in my backpack, but I am about to look around, maybe there are some more here." Red said as he handed her the blanket from his backpack.

„Thank you, Red." She smiled at him and snuggled into the blanket.

Red looked around and there was a small closet, he opened it and thankfully there were some blankets inside.

„Here cover yourself. I'm gonna get some of the wood from outside then I'm gonna come to you."

„Alright, be careful."

After a few minutes Red came back, he put the wet wood in front of the fireplace to let it dry.

He saw that Liz was still shivering despite being covered in all the blankets, so he sat down beside her. He didn't even need to say anything. Liz lifted the blankets so Red could scoot underneath them. He put his arm around her and pulled her closer, causing her to become very stiff.

„Is this okey? We need to warm each other."

„Yeah, yeah it's okay." Liz told him and even snuggled into him a little more.

The fire isn't very warm but it's better than nothing. Since Red was so tired from the long drive, the hike to the cabin, and the entire situation, his eyes were slowly closing.

He woke up to Lizzy shivering next to him, she couldn't sleep and was clearly very cold.

„I'll put some wood on the fire.", he said getting up and doing just that. After which he got under the covers again.

„Liz.. I uh think we'll have to take our clothes off to be warmer.", he said because she was still shivering and her teeth were chattering.

„Oh... I..uh.. I think you're right. Alright let's do that." She said getting up and taking off her sweatpants and sweatshirt. After that she quickly got under the blankets again.

Red was surprised, but relieved that Liz wasn't being stubborn as usual. Then he took off his clothes and sat down.

„Alright let's lie down.", he said and gently pulled her down with him, so he was behind her. Lizzie's back was pressed firmly against his chest and his arms were all the way around her. He could feel how dangerously cold she had gotten.

„Oh god Lizzie you're ice cold.", he said rubbing his arms up and down her hands.

After a while, she stopped shivering and started to get warmer. Red was getting warmer too, but slowly his body was starting to respond to Lizzie's body. Her back was still pressing into him. He could feel each curve of her body. He could feel her soft skin under his hands as they still ran up and down her arms. He knew that she could feel him getting hard.

„I'm sorry Lizzie it's just a normal body reaction. I can't control it." He began to scoot his abdomen away from her.

„It's alright Red, don't worry." she whispered and snuggled back into him. Her bum was tight against his crotch, she even grinded against him a bit. Red held his breath.
