Zoe's Birthday Party

Camila's POV

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday happy birthday! Happy birthday to you!!!"

We sang zoe a birthday song and eat the cake.

The birthday party is now done. Zoe is so happy today. And he's 1 year old! I can't believe i did it without Lauren.

Thanks to Gavin. He's the best ever. :)

I walked up to Gavin and hugged him.

"Hmmm, why so sweet today babe?" Gavin asked me.

We call each other babe. Why not? We're bestfriends we can call each other everything we want. :)

"I never thought I can do this without her. But i did it!!! I did it with you. Thank you so much Gavin. I love you. Even though Zoe is not yours you treated him like your own." I smiled at him and he kissed the top of my forehead.

"Cami, you're a strong person and i love you for that. You're the best. I care and want the best for you and Zoe and will protect the both of you with all of my heart. We're like a happy family already...." Gavin looked at me and smiled.

I looked at him..

"Thank you Gavin. But what if one day you'll leave me because you fall in love with someone?" I asked him with sad look on my face.

"Don't think of it cam. I won't leave you and Zoe. You know we talked about this already right? You're my bestfriend. We tried being together but didn'work out. So we decided to stay as friends. Bestfriends to be exact" he winked at me... "You and Zoe are my family. We are family. Im the father, you're the mother and he is our son." He told me while i sob infront of him.

"Cam, look at me" Gavin said.

I looked at him.

"You can't hide Zoe to Lauren forever. She have the right to know him" he told me.

"Are you saying that i am selfish for not telling lauren?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"No, cami. All im saying is Lauren needs to know. I know that she hurt you a lot. But look, she and that chick model didn't work out. She focused in her career. Maybe that's the way she fix herself?" I looked at Gavin and think of an answer.

I sighed and smiled at him. I always thought she hates lauren because whenever we watch tv and she sees lauren, he always turn off the tv.

"I thought you hate lauren... But how come you know something in her career?" I asked him playfully..

"Silly. I dont hate her. I just dont want you to cry because of her again. And that. I saw an article about her and read it." He smiled at me. "I told you I want the best for you, i don't mind not having a girlfriend because everyone in this town knows that we're together. " he laughed and winked at me.

"You don't mind at all?" I asked him to be sure.

"I dont. We're family, remember?" He said.

"Family, i really wish that we fell in love with each other " i smiled at him and hugged him very tight.

"We may not be together but we love each other very much. And i am committed to you already." He told me and kissed top of my head.

"Thank you so much, Gavin. And i promise you that I will tell Lauren. Not now..... But in the right time" i told him as he wiped off the tears in my eyes.

He nodded.
