chapter 18: the secret to naruto's bloodline abilities.

Ever since the chunin exams finals Shikamaru had been trying to process in his head how naruto's teleportation bloodline abilities worked.

Naruto called it the void release.
Yet it worked similarly to his shadow manipulation and posession jutsu.

But instead of offense and defense he used it for teleportation and barriers.
It was then Shikamaru realized what it was as he said.

"Oh man this is way too troublesome.
Naruto's got the ability to use an advanced version of my clans abilities.

How humiliating. If dad finds out about this I'll never hear the end of it from him.Thing is.I've never seen someone able to manipulate shadows without the use of hand seals before. Just how skilled is naruto with his abilities anyway???."

Shikaku Nara then said.

"SON. What's this I just heard you saying about someone being a better shadow user then our own clan???.

Normally I'm very calm and collected but if it involves our clans abilities and someone else can use them I'll not hesitate to take immediate action against them. So tell me.Who's able to use advanced shadow manipulation???."

And Shikamaru just said.

"If you must know it's that troublesome naruto uzumaki. He used them in ways I've never seen before.

Even from our clans best users of shadow manipulation."

And shikaku said.

"I've seen it used against neji in his fight.
It's not that hard to figure out what he did Shikamaru. Apparently he possesses yang release and yin release. 

Thus creating void release.Shadow manipulation can be used many different ways and he used it in a more strategic way that fit his fighting style.

I've tried doing what naruto did.
Covering an entire arena full of shadows without completely draining your chakra isn't easy. 

But given his uzumaki clan lineage I'd say naruto's got 4 times more chakra then the hokage does.

So he's able to perform higher level jutsu without getting exhausted or depleting his Chakra.

I'm not supposed to tell you this but I'll trust you not to tell anyone else.
Naruto's parents were kushina uzumaki and 4th hokage minato namikaze.

They alone sealed the ninetails into their only son naruto uzumaki.He was given his mother's last name instead of his fathers because the 4th hokage had many enemies from the stone and cloud villages.

I'd not be surprised if he's chosen to destroy the village for keeping his parents a secret from him."

And Shikamaru said.

"If this is forbidden knowledge dad then why tell me what naruto contains and who his parents were???. Aren't you technically breaking the law???."

And shikaku said.

"Yes and no.
Yes if lord 3rd hokage were still in power I'd be facing execution right now.

And no because the new hokage is lady tsunade and she's basically revoked lord 3rd hokage's old laws about naruto."

And Shikamaru said.

"So that means that basically.
The identity of the ninetails existence.
And it's new host can be made public knowledge but only the higher ups like you can decide who has access to it.

The highest authority being the hokage.
The lowest authority be the clan Heads.
And the second lowest authority being the civilian council and village elders."
