Later that day
Everybody was settled in Abhira's room except Harsh, Anand and Mahima.
Nishta : Bhabhi, please tell us something about yourself. We couldn't know much about you during marriage.
Neil : Yes Bhabhi even I want to know
Abhi was also curious.
Akshu : Ok. So let's give you my formal introduction. My name is Akshara Singania Birla. I am a gynecologist and certified music therapist by profession.I have lived most of my life in USA with my maternal family. I love them the most. Everything I am today is because them. My buami and Masima are my role models. My Krish bhaiyu and Vatsal bhai are my bestfriends. My Mamu and Nanu are my super heroes. My badi dadi and dadu are my sweethearts.
And singing and music are my love.
Parth : How come your surname is Singhania, aren't you the granddaughter of Manish Geonka?
Akshu: Actually I was very young when my parents passed away. Since then my Mamu took my responsibility and adopted me. I have been living with them since then.
Parth : Sorry, I didn't know.
Akshu : There is nothing to be sorry about bhiaya. Infact I was very loved there. I would never trade those days for anything.
Neil: Vaise bhabhi aapne kaha ki aapki bhuami aur masi ma role model hai. Masi ma toh mai samjh gaya, but buami nahi samjha.
Akshu giggles
Akshu : Bhuami is Mamu's wife. The thing is my real mamu got married to my real bua. So bhua plus mami bhuami.
Neil : Ohhk
Akshu : Now that you guys know about me, please tell me about your self.
Everybody told her about their work about themselves a little bit except Manjiri. She wanted to talk to more to Parth about his music interest, but she thought to save that talk for later.
Akshu : Maa you haven't said anything, please tell me about yourself.
Man : What do I say, I mean there isn't anything worth telling about me. I am just a housewife.
(Harsh's behavior had induced this insecurity in her that she is good for nothing. Although Abhi and Neil told her not to think that way but she couldn't get over her insecurities.)
Akshu : Thats wrong, you are not just a housewife. You are a SUPERWOMAN.
Everybody looked at confusedly.
Akshu: Yes Maa, you are superwoman. Because of you, everybody has a smooth life in this house. You take care of house, thats the reason, others can concentrate on their work. Everybody works for their identity. But you Maa, you work for maintaining their identity.
We have holidays on festivals, weekends etc. But Maa doesn't have a single holiday. When we get sick we take a off, she works even she is sick. We get frustrated when we get extra work but Maa never gets frustrated, she always works with a smile on her face.
This talent and selflessness can only be found in a superwoman, isn't it Maa?
Manjiri got emotional hearing Akshara, nobody had ever acknowledged the efforts she took for family.But here a girl who just came yesterday in their house, not only did she love and respected her, she appreciated her work.
Akshu : And Maa from today onwards,never say "I am just a housewife" say with pride " I am a housewife".And always remember you are very special.
Saying this she side hugged her.
Abhi was looking at her with different emotions. He was amazed listening to this girl who was his wife. She was effortlessly making a place in everybody's heart.
