It had almost been a year since Carina and Maya met. Maya had been back to work for a couple of months now and was feeling better every day. Carina had started training Jo who decided to switch to being an OB and was absolutely loving it. 

It was almost the twin's 1st birthday, Maya and Carina were currently making their way over to Anna's to help her with the party planning.

"Hey!" Maya yelled as she opened the door her and Carina walking in hand in hand.

"Oh look Ellis, Ellen aunties are here!" Anna yelled as she gave them both a big hug.

Carina and Maya made their way over to the twins who were trying their best to crawl over to them. They each grabbed a twin picking them up.

"Oh you are getting so big bambino!" Carina said to Ellis.

"Can you believe my little babies are almost 1," Anna said holding her head in her hands and pouting. "Time is going too fast!"

"It really has been too fast, guys stop growing!" Maya giggled as she booped Ellen's nose causing her to let out a coo.

"Thank you guys so much for helping with this party I have no idea what I'm doing," Anna laughed.

"Of course we are happy to help," Carina smiled as she set Ellis back into the playpen, sitting at the table with Anna.

Maya did the same with Ellen and headed over.

"Ok, so what are we thinking for food?" Maya asked pulling out her notebook.

Carina stifled a giggle.

"What is so funny?" Maya asked.

"I just queen of the clipboard Maya Bishop is coming out today," Carina giggled arching her back and putting her hands on her hips.

Anna doubled over laughing, "Spot on Carina."

"I do not stand like that," Maya deadpanned.

"You do! Yes you do!" Carina giggled.

"Ok ok Anna, what food," Maya said smiling and shaking her head.

"Well I was thinking definitely get something catered because cooking is just not gonna be in the cards."

"Fair, how about chick-fil-a and pasta from that place you love?" Maya suggested.

"Yes perfect ok write those down and I will call to put in the order."

"Food check!" Carina smiled.

"Theme I was thinking blues clues as they are both obsessed with that currently," Anna said laughing.

"Perfect I love it, I can go and get all the decorations."

"How about I make the cakes I can do blue and magenta," Carina added.

"Oh Carina that would be so special I'd love that, thank you!"

"Ok, so food check, theme check, dessert check. Now I think we just need to do invitations right?" Maya asked.

"Yes I can take care of those I'm gonna do them all online," Anna said pulling out her computer.

"Awesome, well I think we are all planned then! Next Saturday right?" Maya double-checked.

"Yep!" Anna said as she started work on the invites.

The twins started trying to talk to each other, "You guys excited for this huh?" Carina said giggling.

"Every day they try harder and harder to start talking, you should hear when the two of them get into screaming matches."

Maya and Carina laughing imagining it.
