The Dragon's Stone.

  The last thing I remember was in an old book store. The smell of old books was calming as I walked to the back of the store, the setting sun bouncing off the walls so magically.

I saw this small but heavy book as I picked it up and turned the pages of the book the more I felt my body get lighter but I thought It was just in my head so I kept turning the old unloved pages that felt so fragile if I were to turn them to hard they might shatter under my touch.

But after a while I kind of got bored but I turned one final page and there was this glowing stone that felt warm under my touch.

It was like a sunset wIth reds,yellows,and oranges. I picked it up and it was heavy and quIte big, around the size of a grown man's hand.

I thought of taking It but as soon as I thought that the ground opened up all of a sudden. I was falling around a hundred feet in the air, the wind hitting my face so hard I couldn't open my eyes.There was a forest under me wIth thick tree's and something else. It was big and black wIth huge wings. It was a dragon I couldn't believe. I thought I was going crazy but It caught me on its back. So I knew it had to be real.

"Hey are you alright I'm happy I caught you in time" I was in shock to say the least how could there be a dragon that's impossible but here he was talking to me asking if I was alright.

"Hey you good how did you get into the sky anyway you don't have wings" umm ya I'm alright just a lIttle shocked is all were am I" ok that's good but how do you not know where you are where in Sawtera by the my name is Alexzander Xavier but just call me Alex what's your name"It's Scarlett Blackwood you can just call me Scarlett"well nice to meet you Scarlett".

As I looked at Alex the more I noticed the whIte markings along his neck and upper back, his beautiful wings, his lean body and his eyes were a gorgeous shade of purple and his body was black and super shiny. He is a beautiful animal.

"Haha you like the view I can feel your eyes on me" I felt my face go bright red"hey hey I was kidding I know It's a lot It's fine I don't mind " It's just I never seen a dragon before that's all". "How have you never seen a dragon before?" I'm not from here" waIt really where are you from then".

So I told Alex all about my world, all the buildings and cIties and the food and what I did for a living. He seemed to be really interested in what I was saying unlike a lot of people in my life.

"Hey Alex where are we going" ohh right we're going to my camp if that's alright with you" ya it's fine I was just wondering is all" don't worry about my friend Eliot is a bit of a hot head but he's nice once you get to know him".

We flew for about thirty more minutes. I don't remember what we talked about but I know the only reason he was talking to me so much was to keep me distracted from me being anxious. It worked a little bit by the time we got to the campsite. It was dark and I could see a campfire and a person sitting by the fire we landed and I got off Alex's back.

Once I got off Alex transformed into his human form with snow white skin and white hair his purple eyes looking even brighter than before he had light freckles and a lip piercing his hair was slightly curly and was pushed to the side.

"Alex who is this and why were you gonna so long" I'm sorry I was so late and this is Scarlett I caught them from falling to there death" why the hell where they in the sky they don't have wings" let them explain why they were in the sky while I make dinner" ugh fine ".

So I told what I assume to be Eliot about what happened. He looked at me like I was a crazy person. I don't blame him. I would think I was crazy as well but I know what happened.
