Chapter 22

At Summer

We can see her waking up groaning in pain with her eyes widening and immediately standing up as she smells smoke, causing her to cough at the sudden action while seeing a lot of fire around her 

As she headed to safety, she calls her alter self in her mind to know what is going on since her alter self blacked out when they are about to switch bodies again but to no avail, meaning her alter self is healing, possibly from protecting her from whatever the siren humanoid did when her alter self took her body and handles the situation

And then she heard Dr. Clef and Dr. Kondraki's voice calling for her name and from there she followed their voices, to which after a few minute's she found the doctors with Kondraki holding a Glock 9 while Clef is holding a M16A1 Rifle with a Shotgun on his back and a pistol on his waist and rushed towards them

But as she was about to reach them her legs gave up possibly due to the smoke making her dizzy causing her to almost to fall, if it wasn't for Dr. Kondraki catching her before she fall to the ground

Kondraki: Easy, Easy there Summer are you alright?

Summer: A little

Clef: What happened?

Summer: A Siren is attempting to do something in the Maintenance room so I followed the siren there and since there is no Reality Anchor there I let my Alter self take control

As Kondraki heard this he was about to speak to Clef but there is no time to waste and let Clef spoke

Clef: But it seems the siren left one last trick which causes the explosion at the Maintenance room which puts down most of our defenses with your friend and other fighters engaging siren jets

Summer: Yes but, I feel that there's something else why the sirens are trying to infiltrate this base, did you placed something here?

As the two heard this there eyes widen with Kondraki saying

Kondraki: Goddamit, that's why I told the higher ups not to put it here

Summer: What do you *starts coughing*

Kondraki: Rest for awhile Summer we'll handle that 

And so darkness took over Summer as she past out 

As this happens Kondraki spoke as she carries Summer bridal style

Kondraki: We'll talk later, head to the basement level and stop those sirens from getting to the Object SCP

Clef: You got it Kondraki

and so the two parted ways with Kondraki heading to the infirmary of the base which was safe when the attack is happening with the guards engaging the humanoid sirens that are trying to get inside and kill the people in the base with many nurses and doctors treating those who got wounded when the attack happened aswell

At the Basement Level of the Base

We can see Guards getting killed by Siren Humanoids(20 of them) as they are being outnumbered with 5 of the Siren Humanoids heading to a secured huge vault and was slowly trying to open it by using there equipment

That was until they heard an elevator opening with Clef's voice being heard saying

"Sorry Siren's this floor is very restricted so you have two options, Go Home or Die?"
