Chapter 2: Moody

Mackenzie's POV:
"Ew ew ew noooooooo," I said when Maddie showed me what dance outfit she wanted to get me for my birthday. Lucky she didn't surprise me with that otherwise I would of exploded!

"Whats wrong with it?," she asked "Everything," I replied.

My birthday's coming up. Maddie gets good stuff for her birthday. I can't say I don't but it's not as good as what she gets.

"Why don't you just get me a dance bag or something," I said moodily.
"What's with the bad mood," she said and walked off.

Maddie is an amazing sister but she doesn't get that I'm always forgotten. Mom is always giving her heaps of attention and sometimes I get annoyed. To top it off Abby HATES my guts. I'm only on the show because I was angry that Maddie got to be on Dance Moms.

*At school*
"Hey Kenzie I won't be at dancing today because my foot still hurts"

That's my best friend Brooke Kosinski. She's the only person who gets who I am 100%. We go to school together and she's a dancer too. Beside's being on the 'junior elite competition team' I'm in the same dance class as Brooke

"Yeah that's alright," I said loudly over the noise."

When class started I sneezed, and of course the whole class looks at me. Seriously can't a girl sneeze?

"Homework," Ms Flapjack calls out. I stare at my nails. I was so busy with dance that I totally forgot about homework.

"Mackenzie?"
"Um uh I had dance yesterday"
"Dancing again. Maybe you shouldn't be on a tv show if you can't keep up."

How does she know my personal schedule?

Everyone glares at me.

I can't believe Jazzy gave me a dirty look!
"What?" I say.
