NB: when you see words in bold, then you refer to the picture on the side. Does that make sense? I'll put a blank picture before it so you don't look at it until you get to where you're supposed to, cause spoilers :) I thought it would be cool? Idek, you'll see what I mean.
-Ashton entered to café, followed by Calum, but both froze when seeing their parents sitting together. Ashton was the first to speak up.
"Who's that?"
"What the woman next to my dad?"
"No, the man next to my mom..."
They both realised quite quickly, walking over to the table and sitting down next to eachother. Calum picked up his chair and moved it away from Ashton a bit, causing Ashton to stick out his tongue.
"Mom? What are you doing, with Calums dad?" He asked, not liking where this was going.
"Well, Ash, honey. This has been going on for about a month now, and I didn't want to tell you, because I know you and Calum don't have the best relationship, but his father and I are, well we're dating." She said, looking at Ashton with longing eyes.
"David, this is my son Ashton." She said, smiling at him. Ashton almost puked as he smiled at him, waving his hand and turning to Calum.
"This is my son, Calum."
"Oh no. No, no, no. I refuse to have that as a step brother!" Calum exclaimed, pointed at Ashton in disgust. "He's going to take over my shelves with his paper block things!"
"Well I'm sorry that I like to read!"
"Well you shouldn't, it's dangerous."
"Dangerous?"
"People die from papercuts, Ashton."
"I wish you paper cut yourself, you díckhead."
Ashton instantly regretted being rude to Calum, not because he cared about Calum, he obviously didn't, but because his mother had finally found someone to be happy with and she can't be happy because her son doesn't like Calum.
"So-Sorry, Mom. Sorry Calum." Ashton quickly apologied. "Maybe we just don't know eachother well enough eh? We should spend, uh..." Ashton almost gagged. "We should spend more time together, you seem like a cool guy." Ashtons mother smiled at him, suddenly beaming. She turned to talk To David as Calum leant over to whisper to Ashton.
"What the fuçk? You can't be okay with this? This is horrible!"
"Shut up Hood, I'm not going to ruin my mother's happiness because you're a díck."
"Are you saying we have to learn to like eachother?"
Ashton scoffed. "Ew, no. We can just pretend."
With that, they all ordered drinks, and Calm pretended to give a fuçk and attempted to make conversation by telling jokes, while Ashton pretended to give a fuçk and pretended to find the jokes funny.

"Mikey? Is everything okay? You look a little worried?" Luke asked, leaning away from Michaels face to see him properly. They had been snuggling all night, and Luke was quite content until seeing Michaels worried expression.
"I just got a text from Ashton saying that his mom and Calums dad are dating! What the fudge? That's crazy."
Luke had remembered how much the boys hated eachother during Physical Education, always throwing balls at eachother (A/N I'm foreshadowing here guys) during dodgeball.
"Really? Oh my God that's crazy!"
"Ya, and Ashton is going to have to pretend he likes Calum for his mothers sake. That's not easy for him." Michael mumbled into Lukes chest, leaning in closing to his body.
"I mean, you could always get them to actually like eachother, what do you think? I can pair them up at PE, and we can bring them to the smoothie bar with us. I mean they need to learn to actually like eachother. They can't go there whole lives like this." Luke said, running a hand through Michaels green hair. "Plus, I don't know if they really do hate eachother, or are they covering up something? This could be interesting."
Michael smiled, hugging Luke and smiling. "I'm so lucky to have you."
"And I'm lucky to have you too, babe. Never leave me." Luke mumbled, kissing Michaels forehead as he fell asleep in his arms.
-
"Wasn't that fun!" Ashtons mother exclaimed as she walked through the door. Ashton snorted, walking up to his room. He checked his phone as he sat down, seeing it was Michael. Luke had taken his phone and took a picture of them cuddling.
Ashton wished he had a boyfriend like that, they were so cute. But thoughts just kept him from having confidence. You're a nerd. You're ugly. Your glasses are big and weird. You have buck teeth. Ashton sighed, putting away his phone.
"Ash? I need to talk to you!" His mother called. She came into the room and sat next to Ashton on the bed.
"I know you don't like Calum, or David, but he makes me really happy and I don't want to have to end things, but I will if it bothers you so much."
"No, it's okay mom, I like seeing you happy. I can deal with Calum, okay? I'm sure he's a great guy." Ashton lied.
"Oh that's great. I uh, I also have one more thing to tell you?"
"Ya?"
"Well, for the summer, me and David want to go on a holiday together for the summer, and I want you to come with me. And you siblings of course. Are you okay with Calum being there. You too will have to share a room. I'm sorry hun. It's only for a week."
Ashton frowned. He didn't want to share a room with someone he hated for a whole week. But he wanted his mother to be happy, so he agreed.
"That's great! It will be so much fun I promise! Here's David's number, and here's Calums." She said, handing Ashton a sheet. "I also have a favour. Could you call Calum and tell him about the trip? His father doesn't want to."
Yay, Cashton are sharing a room for a week :))) they are going to have to 'pretend' to like eachother uh oh.
