It all started once at a time...everything came rushing in like a bomb had just gone, exploring every corner, every vein. It was like it was hungry, hungry for power. Every joint ached, every vein felt like it would burst and unleash a wrath inside that no one ever knew was there. I was hiding, seeking for the right time to come out, and now had been it's time to show.
Rush sat in the chair of Mrs kinbotts rooms, leaned over, elbows on her knees. Memories flooding back into her mind as she remembered the shock it put her through. She stared down at her hands, sprawled out infront of her like she couldn't even trust them.
"We're you scared?" Mrs kimbotts voice broke her thought.
Rush blinked her dry eyes and dragged her hands down her face.
You can always expect what a therapist would ask next, something to do with your emotions. How you felt.
Typical
Rush thought as she lead back up into the chair.
"How much time do me have left?" Rosh completely ignored her question, she wasn't in the mood for emotion sharing. She had to get back to see enid, her roommate, her bestfriend.
Mrs kinbott sighed. "You've got to stop trying to cut our sessions short. Everytime, I think your making improvement, you go back to your dark forbidden place. Rosh." Mrs kinbott unwrapped her leg from untop the other.
Rush stared at her until she gave in, which she did.
"Fine, go ahead." Mrs kinbott sighed, "But don't think next session you'll get off early."
Rush barley listened as she gathered her uniform top and headed for the door.
She didn't even see the point in her going to therapy, she was perfectly fine. Atleast in her eyes she was, she hadn't had a problem since that one incident.
Principal Weems car was still parked infront of therapy building, just like always, waiting to see if they'd try to escape.
Rush pulled open the car door, lowered herself into the passenger seat, and closed the door right after.
"How'd it go this time?" Principal Weems gleeful tone gave Rush enough annoyance to burn down a whole building.
"Great." Rush spoke through gritted teeth. She wasn't normally this moody, only after her therapy sessions, other days she was fun and out going. Enid would know.
"Great, well I was thinking we could get a coffee before we-" Principal Weems started, putting her car into drive. "I just want to go back to the academy." Rush interrupted, leaning against the car door and resting her arm on the ledge.
"We can do that too." Rush could feel Principal Weems gaze move to her and back to the front, where she maneuvered back onto the road.
Rush watched as they passed the statue of crackstone, the man who brought this town to what it is. She didn't believe that bull crap. Cracks tone didn't look trustworthy what so ever...
It was silent the rest of the way to the academy, though, Rush preferred it that way, it was rare for Principal Weems to keep silent for a long period of time. There is something she's not telling me. Rush thought, throwing side glances over to Weems.
Her smiles was too wide today and her eyes shone brighter. Every step closer to the academy gate seemed inject excitement into Mrs Weems.
"Whatever it is you're trying to surprise me with, you failed to hide it."She heard a chuckle from Weems. "I can hear your curiosity from over here." Mrs Weems joked, they were entering the gates now. Not any longer would she have to hide away from asking what it was.

Rush headed up the stairs to her dorm room, feeling the closure, her safety place just a few steps away. A smile crept along her face the closer she got to the doors. When she reached them, she pulled them open when so much force, she thought the handles would've flung off.
"Rush!" A voice came from across the room, before she could look up, she was grabbed with much force that she fell back onto the floor. "Oh my God I'm sorry!" The same voice grew into concern.
"Have you been working out? I could've sworn the last time you tried to bear hug attack me, I barley moved an inch." Rosh chuckled, pulling herself off the floor, and dusting her self.
She straightened up to see Enid infront of the door that she just swore were open. Rush's puzzled face Must've shown because Enid quickly grabbed Rush by the arm and dragged her back down stairs. When they had finally stopped, they were outside.
"What was that about?" Rush searched Enids innocent face for sighs of anything, but it was only blank. When Enid hadn't answered the first time, she lightly popped her on the arm. "Enid." Her voice stern now. "What was that." Enids smile had turn into a frown. "Sorry, Principal Weems told me not to tell you." Rush ignored Enids sorrowful eyes. So she does have something planned. Rush thought.
"Ugh! Seriously." Rush sat down onto the fountain ledge, dropping her gaze into her sprawled out hands. She felt Enid take a seat next to her and gently rub her hand over Rush's back. "The first thing I wanted to do when I got back was sleep, now I can't do that.' Rush squeezed the hair atop her head and let go soon after.
"Aw what's wrong shifter?" A voice from not very far beside her spoke. "Day not going your way?" Her voice grew into a pout. Rush sat up straight, and turned to face her. "Shut up Bianca, I'm not in the mood for your drama queen shit right now." Rush tolled her eyes as she spoke, turning back to the ground infront of her.
"Yikes, I knew you could shape shift into a cat, didn't know the attitude stayed." Bianca chuckled. Rush sighed. "I'm not dealing with this today." Rush got up with Enid behind her and walked back inside.
