Rachel woke up, and went to the lab where her dad was. This morning, of all mornings she was in pain. "Daddy, my side hurts," Bruce looked at her side, and decided to put her on heat. She was on heat for 30 minutes, then Bruce took her off it. "How does it feel now," "better but it still hurts." Bruce went upstairs followed by Rachel, and the others were awake. They said good morning, then Bruce gave Rachel her medication along with pain killers to eliminate the pain in her side. Then Rachel asked, "daddy who are these people?" "Rachel don't be rude........introduce yourself," Rachel winced, and Bruce asked her, "is it hurting?" Rachel nodded, Bruce decided to introduce her himself. "Everyone this is my daughter Rachel, she is struggling with side pain." Everyone introduced themselves but Rachel was holding her side in pain. Bruce noticed, and took her to the lab to put her back on heat. She started crying, and ended up crying herself to sleep. Bruce felt bad but since it was 8:00 pm, let her sleep with heat on her side. The next morning she woke up, and Bruce gave her the medicine. "How's your side," he asked, "better," was the reply. Bruce smiled, and took her upstairs. She saw the others awake, "Good morning guys," she said. Everyone said good morning, and they all sat down to eat breakfast. "How's your side feeling," Steve asked, Rachel replied, "it's not hurting today. I don't know what happened," Bruce said, "it's probably muscular." Then they all heard a loud bang coming from the training room, Rachel got scared. "Daddy what was that," she clung to Nat while asking Bruce. Nat put a protective arm around her, and Tony sent Wanda, and Pietro to check things out. It turns out it was a punching bag that fell. They returned, and reported to the team. Rachel, however wasn't convinced, "Someone has to be down there, there's no way the bag fell on its own." "She's right," Steve said, "it's totally secured to the ceiling." Suddenly Rachel went stiff, Bruce knew why, as did Nat. Nat took Rachel to her room, and when Rachel relaxed, asked her, "is everything alright?" Rachel shook her head, "It has to be my babba, it just has to be him." Nat saw Bruce in the doorway, and when he heard, came into the room. "Sweetie we haven't seen him forever," "but dad, he said he'll find me, what if HYDRA helped him." Bruce, and Nat were silent, they knew Rachel was right. "Well," Rachel said, "Rachel," Nat scolded, "that's rude to talk like that to your father." Bruce reprimanded her as well, "Rachel we've been over this, what did I say will happen if your rude to anyone?" Rachel looked at the ground, "I'll get a spanking," she whispered. Bruce looked at her, he knew she'd been through a lot in the last 2 months. "Daddy I'm sorry," Rachel was crying, she hugged Bruce tightly, "I'm sorry," she whispered. Bruce rubbed her back, he felt bad but she had been rude twice already. He asked Nat to leave, and Rachel flipped out, "NAT PLEASE STAY, PLEASE NAT, PLEASE." Nat ignored her, and left, Rachel then lashed out at Bruce. Bruce held her, and she hadn't noticed the needle he had with him. When she did she tried to run out, but Bruce held her tightly, and administered the calming needle. He rocked her from behind, and then she wanted to be picked up. He picked her up, and she started calming down.
