And you want to know the irony of all these? Once I received my freedom, I didn't even do anything out of the ordinary that you might have thought of earlier. I basically did what I was supposed to do but this time, out of my own volition. Not because my parents would want me to, or it would make my parents happy, or to avoid unnecessary confrontations or arguments with anyone, and such kind of things.
I did the right thing because my mind knew it was time for me to adult up because with growth comes responsibility. I wanted to be responsible, I love being responsible.
