It's Me Or Him.

chapter 4

Finally giving Hugo one more love, I took my seat at the table.

On my left was riley, and Addison next to him. Then in front of us was riley's parents.

As everyone started to dig into their food, I ate some of my food but then easily become bored of eating and started to play with my food whilst I was in my own world.

"Liv, are you okay there?" I heard a soft voice spoke. Quickly I snapped out of my thoughts to see May looking confused.

"Yeah I'm okay" I responded.

She her face was still full of concern, she knew I wasn't fine but didn't want to question it.

Pushing my chair away from the table I put the leftover food of mine in the dog bowl and went back into my room, locking the door behind me.

Flopping on to the bed I grabbed my blanket and wrapped it around me so I can suffocate me from this hell of a world.

After just laying there for an hour, I finally have motivation to get up and walk over to my wardrobe.

Pulling out my favourite PJ shorts and a vest top to match it, I enter the bathroom that is connected to me room and lay the clothes carefully and neatly down on the side.

Then I made my way over to shower and turned it on. Quickly jumping in it as the hot steamy water hits my body.

After completing what I need to do I got out the shower and went to put my pajamas on, then after I quickly threw my hair into a bun and walked back into my room.

Sitting down at my vanity table I brushed my hair before I got the hairdryer on it.

Once I was finally done, I picked up my phone to see it's 8pm so I went downstairs to see may and Riley sat on the sofa. But no sign of Addison.

"Welcome back Olivia," may smiled.

"Hi." I responded whilst sitting on the sofa next to Riley.

"Addison went home." He said as I hummed in response.

"So are you guys ready to start college tomorrow?" May questioned us.

"Yeah I've been waiting to start it for ages," Riley responded whilst leaning back in his seat.

"Kind of, I mean I am really excited to start my art course, but I'm not sure if I can cope with that many people in one building." I responded.

Riley and his family have always thought about my social anxiety, I've always had it but over the years it was getting worse.

So if I ever go out, I take Riley with me since he knows how to deal with my social anxiety in public.

"Don't worry liv, I'll be there." Riley responded whilst pulling me in for a hug.

We all sat there and watched a movie for abit till it became 10pm.

That's when may sent us up to bed so we could get enough sleep for tomorrow.

As I entered my room I let out a massive yawn, I turned my lights off and put my led lights on, then I closed my curtains before entering the comforts of my bed.

I made sure my phone was on charge before letting sleep over take my body.

It didn't take me long to get to sleep which is one of the best things about me.

Waking up the next morning to the sound of my alarm clock screaming in my ear. Quickly I turned it off and check my phone to see it's 6:30AM.

Letting out a sigh, I pulled myself out of the warmth and made my way down into the kitchen and myself a bowl of Weetabix. Soon after Riley entered.

"Good morning ry ry."

"Morning liv."

He made himself a coffee and sat by me. After a bit of talking may came downstairs to shooed us back upstairs to get dressed otherwise we would be late.

Which we wouldn't be since it's only 6:40am and we don't start college till 8am. And it only takes us 30 minutes to get there.

But we know what may is like, and knows she wants us to be there either early or on time.

Quickly entering the bathroom I brush my teeth and washed my face, then ran back into my room and straight to my wardrobe.

The weather today was warm so I decided to pull out my pleaded skirt, a white button up top and a light jumper. Just incase it got a bit cold during the day I pulled out a pair of tights that match my skin colour and got dressed.

Walking over to my vanity table, I straightened my hair then done some light makeup before picking up my favourite pair of boots and sliding them on.

I picked my back up off the floor and started putting in some things I will need during the day.

Then I grabbed my phone off charge as well as my head phones, sliding them across my head till they was in the right part, I connected my phone to them and left my room.

I sat down on the sofa and it was only 7:20. Soon enough Riley came downstairs and we was ready to leave.

"Bye Riley and Olivia, have fun."

"Bye" we both responded and started to walk to the bus stop.

Once we arrived we didn't have to wait long for the bus. It took it 5 minutes to come, quickly making my way to the back of the bus, I sat next to the window with Riley next to me.

I decided to listen to my all time favourite artists, chase Atlantic.

After a while it was time to get off the bus to reveal the ginormous building standing in front of us.

I felt my anxiety kick just by thinking of how many people are in there.

Riley pulled me out of my thoughts by giving me a hug.

"I don't think I can do this."

"You've got this liv, I believe in you."

"But there's so many people."

"Don't think about the people, just think about being in art class whilst I'm in there."

I nodded my head and thought about it, the frown on my face turned into a smile.

"I'm ready." I said.

"Let's enter and see what awaits us."
