Y/N's POV:
While walking back home, I wondered if I really went to the dance how magical it would be ? Dancing under the dim lights, dressing up pretty, whispering sweet things. I sighed, knowing this is all just daydreaming. My mom spoke as soon as she opened the door "Heyy! My baby's back! How was your day at school? Did someon-" I went inside huffing, "No mom. No one asked me out and I don't even wanna go." I get it that my mom wants me to wear her ball gown for the dance but how should I explain to her that I have no social life and no one knows my existence so in short no one is interested to ask me out. I opened my backpack to doodle something. But when I opened the pouch, I found a note.
'I don't know how to say this but I will appreciate if you go to the dance with me?

I- I am speechless, what should I do ? I wanna go but why does he wanna go with me ?? My head was getting clouded with self doubt."Sweetie, you good?" Mom came in looking concerned. I decided to tell her finally. As expected she go excited and said she'll keep her dress ready.
-The Next Day-
When I went to my seat, Taehyung was already there. He waved at me and I just smiled. "Class, I have an important announcement. The winter dance is going to be held early this year. That is this Saturday." everyone was excited and screamed happily. During the lecture, he slightly whispered,"You got your pencil case yesterday?" I decided to play along, " Yes and I found something, I think it's yours." I passed the note to him. And his reaction was priceless. I could see him smiling uncontrollably. Because that note read, 'Yes I would happily be your date but, you have to pick me up. Ohk?'
-Saturday-
I got ready on the given time and was waiting for him to pick me up. Time went by he didn't showed up. My dad offered me to drop at the dance, I agreed. He might be running late. My mind didn't stop from torchering me that he didn't cared.
Atlast, I was sitting at the table drink whatever it was. I already drank down 4 cups and I am still expecting him to show up but now I don't think so he'll come. I guess it was all a prank or something. Mina came towards me with a sympathetical look. "Hey, what happened?" As I was explaining her the whole she just hugged me. I was about to cry but then someone gave me an handkerchief. "Sorry for making you wait so much, I don't deserve to be your partner tonight." I was going to lecture him and scold him but then I saw him. And..... He looked amazing. I could sense the girls around us eyeing him. I just hugged him. "I'm glad that you came. I tho-thought that you had second thoughts and won't come. I'm just so happy." He took my hand and as we were walking to the dance floor the lights begin to dim. He held his hands forward,"Can I have this dance, Mi lady?" OMG why is he so freaking cuteee!!!
As we were dancing, he slowly whispered into my ear "You know that I had a crush on you since our eyes met the first time. I know I'm getting ahead of myself and it's pretty soon but will be my first ever girlfriend?" I stumbled a little but he managed to handle me, " Wait so you never had a girlfriend??" I could say he was a bit taken back "You just picked up on that line? Nothing else? And no I never had."
"Yess dumbass I'll be your girlfriend."
