"That's when the world seemed to slowly spin around in Y/N's eyes, as she wondered briefly if her non- existant lunch was to ever make a reappearance."

// Y/N's POV //

I woke up to being an ache that almost seemed like i was stabbed in the stomach, as i grew dumbfounded. I rush to a near by garbage can, bringing up everything i kept in since last night. Things started getting uncontrollably hard when it continued for 15 full minutes, finally coming to an end; i looked at the mess, when i came to realize what i actual threw up.

Foam...

"H- huh-" i quickly turned my head the opposite direction, panicking profusely when i saw my favorite brunette behind my back, staring at me in a manner of concern and worry. "Y- Y/N- are you alright?..." She stammered while she slowly approach me, comfortingly placing a hand on my shoulder. I look at her, unable to speak normally to my raspy throat, slowly standing up beside her; "hey... Don't worry I'm fine!" I cheered weakly, smiling at her. This didn't make things better as her worry only grew worse, frowning at me in concern.

"No really don't worry about me girl" i slightly hung my head low, whispering. "Alright... Whatever you say-" she rolled her eyes and sighed.

I looked around slowly, noticing no one really woke up but us two, but seems like the crowd lost three or a few people...
Oh well! No one wants to know where those three went.

I slowly remember my shoulder, gently tapping it, checking for pain, getting nothing but a faint one of a bruise. It's recovered a bit.

Sitting on the lower bed of the bunk, i took a moment to calm down, closing my eyes, listening to nothing but silence's presence. That's when silence booked it out of the room's atmosphere and everyone was jolted awake, being startled at the sudden slamming of the iron door, now opened.

Sighing heavily, we made our way ot of this hell hole of a room, already so tired even tho this is the third day, yet we don't know how long we'll stay here.

//Amilia's pov//

Huh... My concern has grown ever since last year, when Y/N has became so much quieter. As friends since kindergarten, they used to be so much more of a talkative person, they'd laugh, try to make friends sometimes and they'd even participate in so many projects when we were in elementary school... But ever since we started high school, they've gone silent, almost mute compared to the past self. And now my worry grew bigger as to what i saw happen almost ten to fifteen minutes ago.

I continued to wonder in different angles of my mind, suddenly my thought were startled by the loud crash, darting my eyes towards it's maker.

"Hey... The door is opened" they spoke beside me in an emotionless tone, hearing them sigh audibly. They stood up walking straight ahead to the metal door. After a few of staring them as they walked out, i got up and caught up to them before entering the now small, crowd of people.

Noticing how they stopped walking, looking to something in their hands, i slowly started to slowed down with walking behind Y/N, stopping next to them.

They checked the notifications again, looking at me after so. "Looks like today... We are going to be collecting little light bulbs- fuses- fourteen of them too."

"Realized the amount keeps getting lower every time, is this a good sign or a bad one?" I thought out loud.

"I have the reason for it to be good, but no reason to be bad." I smile, glad and relieved to hear slight intonation of happiness in their words. "You know... Maybe the tasks are getting easier the more we are closer to the end of this adventure!" I cheered back, happy with my own news. "I thought the same, now let's go and finish finding those fuses, who knows, it might be our last night here..." I drifted into short thoughts, escaping them once we started to move throughout the hall infront the room, changing a pace wouldn't be bad, am i right?

//3rd~person pov//

Amilia and Y/N began the day, this time not taking the hall to their right, but the front hall. They both went off collecting the fuses one by one, once again the place seeming suddenly quiet. They were also somewhat a little bit later than usual, noting how there was not much to find of fuses in the easy spots to search.

The day went on like usual, no monsters to be seen for now, not even 'Mr. Anonymous', he hasn't spoken to the teenagers ever since the night before which made things quite concerning and horrifying. Things also became cautiously done. But all hope for each was that they were just being delusional.

Fewer hours passing on and on, non- stop, they continued searching for the fuses, rushing back and forth, everywhere and back to the theater, quickly, as to not loose them and go back searching again.

After collecting about seven of the small fairy lights, they were finished. They both sat on the couch in the theater, with a rough headache, they sighed at the growling of their hunger, growing like a black- hole in them.

They watched people join the room, one placing the last fuse onto the machine, then, happiness fills the mentally relived crowd.

But it all turned into panic in compact moments, as the light's machinery suddenly erupts and the fuses were flickering violently, as well as the machine's movements.

The crowd trembles, mimicking the surroundings' action, fear spreading over the room's entire atmosphere. Gasps, whimpers and low whispers were heard along with the clear awe. some starting expecting it to be an explosion, some expecting a fire.

The corrupted noise of the machinery grew louder, accelerated to a high point enough to lose their hearing abilities, then suddenly stops, causing the people to back, awaiting the situation in fear.

All to end up with the electric circuit to shut down, misery but better than ending up in a fire...
