You were in a hurry so you didn't realize that you dropped your wallet. You were having such a good day when your boyfriend suddenly called and dumped you. 'Why?' You thought. Tears started to form in your eyes. Your thoughts got interrupted when you got tapped on your shoulder.

"Excuse me? You dropped your wallet." A guy said.

You stopped and faced this guy and saw how handsome he was. You wiped a tear in your eye and carefully looked at him.

He was wearing some specs and a buttoned up shirt which you could not resist from staring. Your thoughts about your ex suddenly got blown away by this handsome man infront of you.

"Ah thank you, cutie." You blurted out and bowed.

'Wait what?' You thought. 'I called him a cutie?!'
You slowly looked up after bowing and you saw him smirk at you.

"So I'm a cutie huh?" He says, smirking.

You started burning up, you quickly looked away hiding your red cheeks.

He notices that you were blushing,

"Pfft." You heard him laugh.

"I think the cutie's not me, it's more like you." He smiles.

You got mesmerized by his smile that you did not realize that you were staring, again.

You realized that you were staring and started to stutter.

"Oh, uh, sorry! I mean I w-wasn't staring or anything! I-I..." You sigh, "Bye." You stuttered embarrassingly and started walking away.

"Wait," He grabs your hand.

You blushed again seeing his hand grabbing your hand.

"My name's Jimin, what's yours? Can we get coffee sometime?" He asks, smiling.

'Oh god, that smile.' You thought, 'This must be a sign for you to move on from your ex ______!'

"Sure! I'm ______ by the way." You said.

"Cute name ______!" He smiles.

You blushed again.

As you two walk to a nearby coffee shop, You noticed something and stopped and looked at a window.

You saw your ex with another girl.

Tears started to form in your eyes and Jimin noticed.

"________? Is there something wrong?" He asks.

He looks up to the window to see what you were looking at.

He suddenly changed.

"Is he your...?" He asks with a worried tone.

"Y-yeah.. Hahaha got dumped through a phone call a while ago.." You tried laughing it out.

Tears started to flow while you were 'laughing'.

You stopped and fell to the ground. You can't help it. You were hurt. What's worse is that you got dumped through a phone call and now you see him flirting with another girl.

You didn't realize that Jimin wiped your tears away.

"I'm sorry that you got dumped... Do you want me to do anything?" He asks with a more worried tone.

"No, no, It's fine. I'm fine now." You stood up and smiled at him while fixing your face.

Even though it still hurted, you forced yourself not to sulk over this guy. You grabbed Jimin by the hand and continued walking to the coffee shop.

You went inside the coffee shop and he ordered you a caramel macchiato.

"How did you know that my favorite drink was caramel macchiato?" You ask.

"Really? It's my fave too! ^^" He smiles.

You two drank your drinks in silence.

He suddenly broke it off.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asks, changing the mood.

You slurped your drink and gave him no answer.

"Ahh..hhaha i'll take that as a no." He chuckles.

You stare at him chuckle and he caught you staring.

You look away.

"Hey ______. Would you like me to make you forget about him?" He asks with a straight face with slight nervousness.

You stare at him as he gives a dry smile.

"A-are you saying?" You ask.

He nods which made your heart beat once.

'Huh?' You thought 'Am I ready to move on?' 'What if he hurts me the same way that guy did?' Your thoughts of other 'what ifs' got interrupted by him saying:

"I know we only met today, I don't know you that much and you don't know me that much, after seeing you get hurt by your ex made feel like I should protect you. I'm not like him or any other guy. I want to be with you, get to know you more and just mend your heart back to the cheerful one I met a while back." He says with eyes that were filled with meaningfulness.

You couldn't help but nod and let a tear fall down your face.

He stands up and hugs you on the spot.

You two spend the day hanging out, getting to know each other. Letting your love blossom more.
