J-Hope x Reader

It was a bright morning when you went to work.

You worked at a local café down the street.

You always enjoyed work because you gained some feelings with your co-worker, J-Hope.

His real name was Jung Hoseok but he prefers being called J-Hope.

As you changed to your work uniform and went to serve people, Hoseok cheerfully greets you.

"Hey ____! Nice day today huh?" He smiles.

You blushed at his smile.

His smile can literally make people instantly happy and just ugh. You can't.

Your fangirling moments got interrupted by an angry customer shouting right in front of you.

"Hello! Excuse me but can you do your flirting moments later because I've been waiting here for the last 15 minutes staring at you staring at this guy!" He says.

Everybody started looking at you.

"U-uh.. I'm sorry 'bout that sir. Now can I please take your order?" You said.

"Wow. The workers here need to be disciplined! Where's your manager?" He rudely shouts again.

"We're sorry for the inconvinience sir. It won't happen ever again." Hoseok says.

The rude customer just scoffs it off and orders.

After he ordered, you went to take a break at the back.

You sighed.

'What a way to make this day start' You thought. 'That was the most embarrassing moment I have ever experienced!'

You sigh once again.

'People were looking at us and I-I' You thought 'I screwed it up.'

Suddenly a familiar voice called you.

"Hey.." He says.

You look up and he gives a small smile.

"You okay ____?" He asks.

"I'm fine. Hehehe sorry back there. I kind of messed things up." You apologize.

"No-no-no" He quickly says.

"You didn't screw things up. It's my fault too.." He gives a smile.

After talking to him, you go back to work.

Your shift ended so you decided to chill at a nearby park.

You sat on a swing.

'Today had a rough start.' You thought 'I messed it up this morning.' 'He probably hates me now.'

These thoughts suddenly got interrupted with a smile.

His smile.

You started thinking about his smile and how he always had a positive vibe and what would happen if you ever stood next to him with your fingers intertwined with his, or if you would rest your head on his shoulder.

Ever since you started working at that place, you always looked forward to his smile, his face, his bright personality and just him himself.

"_____?" A familiar voice called you.

Everything started happening fast when you suddenly ran to him and gave him a hug.

"I know this is selfish of me and I know that I may not be the best girl you could have and I know that I don't have a good sense of fashion or putting on makeup but please please please. Jung Hoseok I love you and I love your smile and everything about you." You blurted out.

He looks at you with wide eyes.

He responds.

"I..already have a girlfriend..-" He says.

You collapsed to the ground.

'He has a girlfriend all this time?' You thought.

"Uh..haha..ok. Well um, I better go now.." You said while standing up.

"Wait." He says.

"You didn't let me finish." He says.

You stood there staring at him.

"As I told you before, I already have a girlfriend. I thought that she will be mine someday as soon as she stepped in the café. Good thing she started working there because then I would see her everyday for the rest of my life. She thinks she's not pretty but she is. She told me that she may not be the best girl I could ever have but here I am now telling her that she is the only girl I will only love until I die. Well, except for our daughter ofcourse. Anyways, before she walks away, I want her to know that, I have a girlfriend and she is standing right infront of me now." He says smiling.

You stood frozen in your spot.

You see him take a step towards you.

When he was right infront of you, he hugs you.

With that, he walks you home standing next to you with your fingers intertwined with his.
